Does life have to be like this? (because this is not fun)

I just wanted to add my 2 pence worth - Lalaladybird I have had more days in the last 2 years my son has been born feeling I am incompetent than not. These days it's not a lasting feeling but most days at least once I notice how dusty the sides are, or how badly the hoovering needs doing, or how my ironing pile may topple over and kill someone, and feel like I'm a domestic failure.

But then I remember that one day my DS will be a grown up and my house will still need cleaning and tidying, even if I did it all now instead of spending time with him.

With that in mind, I do a daily 5 minute fling, batch cook and freeze weekly and get DS to help with half an hour of household chores each morning on the days I don't work.

I would just add, finally, I salute anyone who manages to function with a toddler and a baby - hats off to you all xxx
