And for those that still dont understand the Original thread, next time you goto a curry house and order: Curry, rice and a naan bread, and the curry turns up with the naan bread, but theres a delay on the rice and they unsure how long it will be, what would you do ?

I would leave it for several days and them come onto MSE to bleat, whinge, whine and cry about how my meal was ruined, and that my life was in tatters and oh, BTW, how much compo do you think that I should be claiming for, as I was really really, really unhappy at the time (what with losing my Teddy Bear and not having access to my GHD's for literally days - the horror, the horror ).

Oh thank goodness! I thought it was missing and we would all have to go through the rigmarole of claiming compensation for the distress caused by it's absence...:D

There might not be a teddy bear depo in Gatwick,

So let me get this straight - there is not a Lost Teddy Bear Dept at Gatwick?

So what do you do if you lose your Teddy Bear?:huh::huh:

I reckon that it stinks of a cover-up.

I reckon that Gadaffi is behind an enormous Teddy Bear trafficking ring, and that things like lost luggage and WMD are simply a smokescreen to take peoples attention from the bigger picture.

GHDs Murphy, not WMDs ... GHDs are quite a bit worse ... in some parts of Europe windows get regularly stove in because of them ... awful things which are being traded in all kinds of shady places ... due to their terrible straightening potency :p

At least WMDs are mostly just a figment of a madman's imagination.

you've fallen for it as well -- its all Gadaffis fault. He started it saying that there were no GHD's in the country and then JFK from the UN said that the ASOC from the BEA had found that FWIW he thought that BTW things were FUBAR over the whole WMD in EEA. :D

I think that is quite obvious?

I'd call the Lost Teddy Bear department at London Gatwick with absolute urgency!

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
