Received my mugs today - two of them have broken handles, and four of them look awful because the colour is all faded and blurred around the edges of the photo. Have rung Asda, but got the same old 'have to return them to us first before we can do anything about it.' The woman I spoke to told me that I would need to get a receipt for postage and she actually said I would have to take a photocopy of the receipt it put in the parcel with the mugs! If I didn't do this, I was informed that I wouldn't be refunded the postage costs. When I pointed out to her that it was unlikely the Post Office would let me use their photocopier to do this, and then faff around taping the parcel up, she seemed a little stumped as to what to say next lol!
I have asked for a manager to call me back, but will not be holding my breath. The words 'head' and 'brick wall' come to mind0 -

Tried cutting and pasting the code for the £1.50 price but it wouldn't let me do it, so I type the code in and it worked. Going to give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered a couple of mugs, hopefully after all the stick they have had they will ariive ok. Still waiting for the mug I ordered earlier!!Penny Pinching Pauline0

Just sent another Email off to Asda not Asda-Photo, to see what they have to say. After all the emails Asda-Photo would of got they should of reprinted them for free without having to ask us to return them. Anyway don't they have some sort of quality control, I could see straight away that they were not right. If I had paid full price for the mugs, I would be  . Also there are no promises that they will reprint them for us, as "they" will decide and they did send them out like that in the first place. If you want them back for Christmas:rotfl: .0

I ordered 3 lots of mugs - 21 in total, for some unknown reason my cc was rejected and CS contacted me the following day and I paid with another card. I explained that I'd had to order in 3 separate orders because the site kept freezing on me and she said she would arrange to credit me with 2 x p&p. I still have not received any of my mugs (but am secretly hoping that's because they are resolving the quality issues first) and the website shows my orders as "being processed". No sign of the p&p refund though.
Also want to say to OP that it was a fantastic offer and not to feel responsible for any quality issues!"There's hard work. And there's not so hard work. I prefer not so hard work. But if you mix not so hard work with hard work it's harder than the not so hard work but not so hard as the hard work."

Got my mugs this morning..2 out of 8 were wonky pictures and half of the picture was faded out...I can't be doing with the hassle of returning them but I will email to complain.I wouldn't be happy if I would of paid full price at all...
I can't give the 2 mugs as presents though as they look naff
I have just emailed asda though to tell them I am not happy..Just because they were cheap they should of still done them correctly0 -
I would like to agree as well, great post from the OP, pitty Asda never used a better company to process the mugs.0

My 7 mugs arrived this morning and apart from one pic being slightly wonky they are great. I was obviously really lucky, maybe they are starting to be more careful. Mine are for gifts and are very presentable, I even feel like keeping a couple. So thanks to OP and good luck to everyone else. Would it be tempting fate to order more?..0

Haven't got mine yet, I ordered 21 mugs for gifts for people for Chrimbo.
Bit scared about actually opening the box to see what delights (!) I have in the box!
Fingers crossed.0 -

About the same for me - very pleased - OP is a star.
Check my earlier post to learn a vital lesson with digital photography - to get the best results you must colour correct your 'negatives'.
