Had my first mystery shopper assignment today. I spent ages going through the job notes and mentally listing what to ask for etc and then I was off - dark glasses, hat and mac!!!
Got to the destination only to find the shop had closed down!!!! Ah well got another one next week - fingers crossed!

I have done a few mystery shopping jobs and they are quite fun to do cos you can tell that they know some one is coming and they are all on their best behaviour!!!!!

Everyone is very quiet at the moment, I hope you are all busy making extra money! I have made a few quid on ebay recently and have some more items listed at the mo and just signed up to do Shop and Scan thanks to an invitation code from a nice guy on the referrals board, it seems like a really good idea, I have 1000 points just for signing up and that equals a £10 voucher for lots of different places - marriott hotels, virgin, hmv, top shop, etc... you get another 10000 points when you submit your first shop and then a further 1000 for each weeks shopping details! I am going to save the points and use them for a short break in a hotel for our first wedding anniversary in October next year!

Hi All

Just logging in for the night and seeing how you all are. Not much happening here - waiting for DMP to start - bit worried now as I haven't had my welcome pack from cccs. Am starting to get the "you've missed a payment" letters from ccs and an offer to take a 3 month payment break from Egg. AMEX have told me to contact their consumer support department to help me out - Their letter harps on about getting fee support rather their team.

Got my money from ebay - so my son's French trip is paid for (Yippee) and I have a few bits and bobs for Christmas.

Not much else to report today - Hope you're all doing well and not feeling low. 1st Dec this Friday - and DMP forever!

Spoke to Cahoot cc today and they were very good they just told me to keep them informed and that they would ring me on Monday to make sure that Payplan have spoken to them. Mine stats friday too. I can't wait for all the letters to start coming in saying you have missed another payment!!!!!!

Hello all!! Hope all is well with everyone !

Im just about to make my second payment to my dmp & am now the proud owner of a statement from CCCS detailing the payments that were made last month. I just used to glance at my credit card statements, check the minimum payment, pretend the rest was nothing to do with me! Now I have every gory detail in front of me & denial is not an option. Got paid yesterday and am putting a new budget together. I ran out of money too early last month, so this time I'm going to budget weekly.

Creditors are all quiet still!

You asked me to report back to you about my Amex claim - this is it.

Sent off for statements - got them in 2 weeks. Sent 14 day letter demanding repayment of charges.

On day 14 received phone call by Amex stating that a cheque would be in the post by the end of the week. No court needed !

I did say that if I hadn't received it by next Tuesday I would be starting court proceedings but she assured me that I would receive the cheque.

How about that then !!!

You're news has really lifted me and spurred me into action. I've got my statements from First Direct this morning so on to next stage with them. I've been sitting tight on all ccs for now until DMP is up and running properly - scared it migh upset the apple cart before hand.

I bet you feel invigorated by such success - Dare I ask is it much?

Hi everyone, joined this group when I sent out all my first letters from Payplan and so far have been pleasently surprised that creditors are accepting my offers, tho first credit are phoning me and leaving messages to ring them on an 0870 number so I will have to ignore them until they write to me(no chance of answering the phone I am sure they ring when they know I'm out at work). Although this is only the beginning I feel as if its all sorted and I can relax.The support from everyone on this site has been amazing.:A

Do they do it on purpose. They always ring when I am at work and on a monday and friday when I am at home they never ring!!!!!!!

I am dreading the next week as I am soure that I will be getting letters and calls when I pay my first lot of money.
