Following advice on these pages i requested bank statements for the last 6 years, they arrived today dated up to June 05, nothing since.
Is this a delaying tactic?, do I now ring up and request the rest or send a follow up letter, or do both.
    Thanks

UPDATE Rang up and they said they will send the rest, didnt give a reason why they were incomplete

The missing statements may be coming in a separate letter but you can certainly call them and ask.
  • i just received an offer? It was the first thing I heard back from them. fingers crossed they will reply quickly to everyone!

Hopefully my offer will come soon too then, they only have 5 days before i send the LBA anyway, regardless of their 'we'll try to get back to you within 10 days' stuff.

Got my statements via courier today.
Got quite a shock when I finished, didn't realise how many charges I had!
Letter sent today by recorded delivery, hopefully I will get an offer/reply within the 14 days.:D

  • I sent my letter on the 2nd, got the 10 day letter today but reading some of the stories on here gives me some hope because it seems that I have the same method of reply as others on here!

sent my first letter just before christmas, got the usual 10 day standard letter back, was supposed to send my next letter at the beginning of the month but with it being xmas/new year and me not being totally organised (was waiting on the kids going back to school)...anyway managed to sent my next letter recorded delivery today threatening Court Action etc....when i came back from the post office there was a letter from FD stating

"Our enquiries are taking longer than originally anticipated, but i will ensure you recieve a further response within the next 10 working days.

In the meantime, may I take this opportunity to thank you for your patience, whilst awaiting our reply."

I just want the money !! lol - thing is i have spent it a hundred times over already !!
