    From the misprice thread..
Couldn't find this listed, apologies if its already been posted.

Digilogic DVRW2 DVD Recorder (the kind you plug into your TV). White SEL by display boxes £74.97. White SEL with demo product £67.97 R&R no problems.

I saw this this afternoon, no £67.97 SEL though but it did have it wrote on the box in biro!

Will continue to look in other stores tho, otherwise there is always the other one (yellow box, Lite on?) thats offer ends on tuesday.

I'm hoping to be spoilt for choice on wednesday, couldnt believe the amount of offers that end on the 28th!

Looking forward to a nice morning out on wednesday!

On a seperate note, I went into a store yesterday that I hadnt been in for about 6 - 7 weeks, I was obviously "spotted" as soon as I walked in, I clocked the cardboard games stand thingy in the entrance and sure enough, SEL for pro Evo 6 at £36 but no games in the stand, walked over to the games aisle and there they were with an SEL of £39, picked one up an popped it in my basket, as I walked to the end of the aisle there was a manager/supervisor bloke standing there, he looked into my basket then looked over at the security guard and nodded, then proceded to follow me around the store.
I wouldnt have minded had he been subtle about it, but there were times he was only five or six steps behind me and I swear at one point if I had stopped suddenly he would have walked into me!
So I led him a merry chase around the store, walking around and round in circles stopping and looking at various ridiculous items to give them some red herrings to check, had another walk up and down the meet aisle, walked up the beer aisle and the phone on the wall rang, the guy stacking the shelf answered it and looked straight at me, see I was looking at him and looked straight at the floor (the supervisor guy was still following me)
At this point I had a text message telling me I didnt need to get the game ;) so I had another walk around the store, put the game case back on the shelf and walked out, much to the confusion of the security guard on the door!

I cant believe I must have set a real impression in that store (I got my PSP and 2 Phillips stereos there)

But they didnt notice one thing!

I wasnt on my own! ;)

Just take someone with you if you know of a big R&R opportunity!

Not worth the hassle of trying it yourself in my opinion, just take someone with you, go in seperately and while they're busy watching/following you they wont notice someone else getting a nice R&R!

    Works for me! ;)

i have a question, i went in to a tesco while i was near one alot of the SEL's expire today, i was wondering when the prices would change, not got to an R&R situation yet!

also if the SEL is out of date, does my claim for refund remain correct ?

Never said it was my other half did I?

The store I was in yesterday had half the staff following me and watching me, I'd have thought they should have more important things to do on a busy saturday afternoon on the run up to christmas, obviously not! Any shoplifters/muggers/terrorists etc could have had a field day!

My "aide" couldnt believe their eyes as they watched me being followed and talked about, I just casually strolled around picking up random objects, carefully scrutinising the SELs and packets, umming and aahing over buying them then putting them back. I thought if they were gonna watch me I'd make them wonder what the hell I was up to! :rotfl:

The puzzled look on the security guys face as I walked out was almost as good as any R&R I could have got in there! (well, almost)

    First post of the night......lol............almost

Stood next to the guy today who, a couple of months ago, gave me an area ban, while my OH came through the checkout.

    Great feelin'
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

I had an R & R on an out of date sel and got a refund. I think it's because the price on the item has to be the price charged so under Tesco rules you have then been overcharged so get a refund. They did argue a bit over it but just stand your ground if it's something worth raising profile for and phone head office because they should back you up. Others on here don't have any problems with the out of date stuff but I think they are trying anything now not to give you your R & R.
    Boots and Tesco tart!! :heartpuls
