I agree with leadhead's earlier post, when the R&Rs are thin on the ground it's good to just look at the prices and compare elsewhere.

I am sure the Tetley 240's were at £2.99 last month (they had flashed packs with this price on) so £2.88 for the 160's is pretty extortionate.
They've just sent me a 75 points voucher on this item - thats probably wy the price has gone up

Tetley are BOGOF so no-one is going to buy them if they are a tea tart.
  • Just out of interest, if you poaid by your shopping by cheque and had a R&R on an item of your shopping, how would they refund you?

Asda stop taking cheques on 1st January, my local store has a sign up.
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
  • They do take cheques, a bloke paid by cheque in front of me a week ago, but I now think they are strict on the value up to the limit on the quarentee card.

I cant belive people still use cheques when buying stuff in person yeah the money takes a few days longer to leave your account, proberbly because the extra time it takes to bloody write the thing it takes ages just use the debit card.
  • I still use cheque's at the end of the month. That way I know the money wont go out of the account before I get paid!!

Just off shopping, so hopefully I will have a nice EL71 when I come home as I spotted it yesterday
We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now
