It was WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2007, I figured the 02 barcode was the valid one so didn't bother with it.

the later the number eg 23345664/00 sel £1.89 or 23345664/01 sel "1.90

it will scan at higher barcodes price!! eg £1.90

I agree with leadhead's earlier post, when the R&Rs are thin on the ground it's good to just look at the prices and compare elsewhere.

I am sure the Tetley 240's were at £2.99 last month (they had flashed packs with this price on) so £2.88 for the 160's is pretty extortionate.

A while back I pointed out here that Finish 4-in1 dishwasher tablets, that used to be £4.89, had gone up to £8.49!! Finish had brought out a new 5-in-one version and Tesco had priced BOTH types, even the old stock, the same!

Another example, Cars PS2 game is £27.97 in Tesco. In Woolies I saw it at £14.xx this week (probably similar in Game, as it's no longer a new PS2 game).


P.S. Look out for Finest cold meat in the chillers, yellow SEL says 'Finest pre-packed meat, buy 2 save £1'....but none of the Finest ham varieties are in the offer, even though they fit the bill they have white SELS. One on-the-ball local store has handwritten 'yellow stickers only' on the main offer SEL but other stores have not.

Re the Games, cds etc, I think it was suggested earlier that the 1p less than the competition, keeps them "cheaper".

As for the weighed stuff....no idea there.....

But now for the important bit......

The squeek is caused by alway RandRing round the stores in the same direction, if the entrance is on the right of the store, walk down to the last till and start there, you'll find the squeek disappeares after a week or so........either that or you need your shoes repairing.

Regarding my earlier post about sucess with the sensations crisps.
Some of the flavours are discontinued....duck & hoi-sin & the wine and mushroom ones at my local.
The offer sticker says BOGOF Sensations at £1.18, no mention of flavours.
If you buy one of the discontinued ones and any other flavour, the discount was not triggered.
At my store, they were on different sides of the crisp aisle.

I noticed today that most of the dvd's had yellow sels with end date of 26th nov...cant for the life in me remember whether they had an offer ending or what...anyone shed any light on this?

Just a pointer, noticed the venturer 15" LCD TV ( without DVD ) was on an end and had SEL for 148 but in another place they had it on a SEL for 128 today.

I can confirm this lower price is the right scanning price , and the DVD version I think is still at 17x.

Could anyone tell me what Superman Returns on Xbox 360 is scanning at please? Saw an SEL for 37.XX tonight. Had a look on the tescos webiste and it says 39.99 but these don't always correspond.
