HappyLarry wrote:Hi guys,
Not sure if anyone is interested in trying an R&R on this but "Innocence smoothies" are reduced to £1.97 according to large SEL but small SEL under the backberry and blueberry flavour says £2.25 (scans as this to).
I asked a lady stacking shelves if the BB/BB flavour was included and she said yes because the large SEL did not state which flavours were included and it was clearly a "smoothie". She then made sure the checkout girl put it through at the lower price.
Missed out on an R&R but still saved me 28p)
I tried that at my local tesco, and they said that it didn't count, as it clearly shows the sel. Didn't want to argue as I'd had the r&r for some burgers at the time, and it was my first time at it too...0 -
Found tins of peanuts on bogof offer (some weeks back so no point in giving the full details now). The bogof didn't work so claimed an R&R.
Very nice C.S. lady asked for my C.C. (was still using it then, don't now) then refunded me nearly £6 in cash. I've just checked my C.C. statement only to find she refunded it there as well.

Forgive my ignorance, but I've looked through loads of this thread to find out what a golden r&r is, and all I can tell is that it's something to do with a credit card? Maybe where you get to keep the receipt and they don't mark it too?
I got a r&r the other day on Old el Paso Tortillas, they were half price but they went through at half a penny more than half price so got r&r. They got all confused when trying to give me 2 and a half pence back! I paid on my credit card so was wondering if there's anything else I can do to get more money back or something?0 -

Its nothing to do with credit card. It is an invented term for when you get your refund and the reciept is not marked as such, allowing for a second refund upon returning the item. Does not work as well with food items as it does with non-food.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -

getting your money back and keeping the product
then returning the product for your money back
so instead of the free product you have the money instead of the product0 -
Thanks for the above two posts, understand now. Got a bit confused with people mentioning cc (thought it was credit card but maybe clubcard?)0

I will admit to one or two golden r&rs, best one was ages ago, some of you will remember the leaflets with a wrong priced phone on. I cn't remember what the phone was now as when I went to collect it they didn't have any. I was asked did I want another phone and I said no (as I thought they would make me pay for it) and the cs phoned someone and then said can I have your card again, as she had already refunded the first payment, and refunded the amount of the phone again onto my card. I had a golden r&r without even seeing the item.0

Heads up Tescos have slashed all christmas stock in price so there are no more christmas misprice box r&r potentials, such a shame!!!!
I suppose I will have to make do with the 4 bungee watches, 3 new drivers packs, 2 stationary sets, 6 paint by numbers, 2 crayola pen sets, 1 leg money box, and 3 brollies. At least it was good while it lasted.:D
Thank you sir tel;)I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -
