interesting article in todays newspaper, that Christmas shopping will be more expensive as Tesco have increased the prices of over 1000 items in the last month......
just in time for Christmas shopping

Why are they spare postie?......they're still valid...I've got 86 of those alone left, but hope to get rid of them until it stops.

I'm on a sabatical from RandRing, and it keeps one's profile down...

While in the town this morning, got a phone call...Superdrug are selling Motorola ZTE flip phones with £10 credit for a fiver.....quickly left Tescos....

Only 2 per customer, but the three couples around me only wanted 2 between them, SA was very obliging...walked out with 12 in total........they still had loads left when I left, but all had gone by 1pm (after my pals had been in). Apparently it was in the national press.......

Anyone notice the bogof on Tetley Teabags...

My wife and I were positive when the signs were first put out, the bogof was for the 240 boxes..........as i bought 2(coupons) but cant find the receipt.

Yesterday we bought more(coupons) but when we got them home...noticed they were only 160's

Been in a few stores since, and the promo now is bogof on the 160's but at the same price we thought the 240's were at........an indecent £2.88.

I am pretty aware when shopping, and wouldnt have picked up a 160bogof for an indecent £2.88, but at just over apenny each bogof on the 240's I would have.

Anyway...got a refund on the 2x160's.....

So......did anyone else notice this.

Some of the bogof prices have seen the originalprice of the single item, almost double.

Also beware..Teacos have dropped the price of the 15 Fairy dishwasher tabs from £3.48 to £1.74..........Wilkinsons have the 30 paks on offer for £2.99.

Its great at times to forget about RandRing, and just walk round Tescos to look at the prices............I honestly can't seem to find anything that I can't get cheaper elsewhere.

ADVICE TO NEWBIES...(if I may)........Ive noticed a lot of questions being asked by newbies, then being answered by quite a few experienced posters in the last few days.

The newbie then comes on 10 posts later and says "Thanks for all the help".

I think it should be pointed out, that really it would be more appreciated if the newbies who had their specific questions answered were to just hit the thanks button.

I'm sure someone will "twist" this to incriminate me in some "unlawful undercover thanks deal".....but !!!!!!........I know this has been mentioned to me, and I have actually passed it on to people who have PMed me...

Basically, Hitting the thanks button, (in my opinion....(not a fact)), will possibly mean more attention is given to your next question.

Just a quickie. I noticed half the Xbox 360 games in my local store are £X.96 and the others are £x.97. Is there misprice potential there are do the games vary in price by 1p?

They vary quite often so they can say they are cheaper than HMV etc
