Not being funny mate, but if there is anything there, its not from Sir Tel, its someone who forgot/didnt look there, I almost did that the first time I ever used one of those self scan things but the lady came over and told me about it, she said it shows up on their computer that notes havent been removed from that tray so you were lucky they hadnt noticed. Whoever used it before you wasnt quite so lucky though.

That said, if I saw a note there, Id take it too!
    :rotfl:

I agree that this money isn't from Sir Tel and I too nearly left a tenner the first time I used these self service machines.

Have to disagree about keeping it though. I actually gave a fiver back to the SA when using the machines for two separate transactions to save myself loads of dosh with Uniball and Asda vouchers. The owner of the fiver could return and I would like to think that they could reclaim their money.

No offence meant here but I suppose we all draw lines in different places.

Hey Dude.....Ive still got PSP's left off September mate....just biding my time getting full value for them..............

Re rumbled on the double refund, don't know how it came about, must flag up on their system, but a few of us got the letter after losing quite a few points from our totals, saying we were abusing the system.....this was in the "glory" days when I was a Tesco Credit card holder.........which actually was more in the "black" than the "red"......if you know what I mean........

    Good man - cheers.

I guess that when HO had their sights on you they started tracking back through your transactions.

    Thanks for the info,

I'm afraid not. Keep trying though, they always appear round the corner.

Ask yourself, have they charged me more than it says on the shelf or on the product?, if not, then its not an r&r

  • Why do Tesco have their Xbox 360 games priced with a penny difference - some are £36.96 and others £36.97?

Is this store specific and do the prices alter by a penny or always a few pounds?

I ask because I got my first R and R a few weeks ago - the PES6 game of the week. I picked up two and was refunded no problems but today I seen Eragon. So i thought I'd buy it (cash) - the receipt says Xbox game (rather than a specific title)and then i'd take back the PES6 game using the receipt. Essentially swapping the PES6 for Eragon. but the problem was that Eragaon was £36.96 and PES6 was £36.97 so i was foiled. Is there a way around this?

    many thanks

There are plenty of mis-prices out there it just seems to be quiet in terms of new non-food items.

Personally I don't go for food items any more - I was in my local today and took a stroll down the meat aisle for old times sake - loads to be had.

As for non-food - new ones will come - just have to keep looking!

    Take her easy,
