i know what yr sayin wlfc1 but i went to mr t's to do my weekly shop so spent waaaay over £40 anyway. lol, so it was an added bonus.

Hey I'm certainly not knocking your post, just warning people of the pitfalls of going for this, if you're spending £40 anyway, then give it a go, but then you could apply this to any phone. The misprice you have highlighted is more of an operator error.

But well done, its a very nice phone.

As I said, you were lucky on this occassion, you had a less than careful checkout operator, the white SEL was a coincidence, I know because I tried it last night.

The 20% off clothes flyers were still on the checkouts today at Chorley, even though the offer finished at the end of November. Don't know if that would count as an R&R - may be worth a go if you're buying anyway, but I've no doubt they'd dispute it.

Offer has been extended to the either the 3rd or 4th Dec

Then I saw a Bratz Diamond Make up girl, scanned 26.97 sel 24.97. Bought it went to CS and she was a right old grump. Off she went and came back and said there was no sel, I went with her and pointed it out, she then said thats for something else, but I pointed out that it wasnt. Back to CS we went and then she said the bar code was different, "I dont know why its here as we dont even stock it", blah blah, and offered me £6.00 off. (I remember looking at the sel and the barcode was printed over other text so was really hard to make out) In the end I got a refund and left the item there.

Heavenly, I had an RnR on this one yesterday no problems. Sorry you had to meet the stroppy CS woman :(

    Hi all,

Long time lurker, time to hopefully contribute.

Got some of the previously mentioned triple DVD's today, and the section manager was called over, and I'm sure they said that the prices were changing on Monday so the window of oppertunity for the DVD's may only be over the w/e.

Also, it was interesting reading the "every little hurts" thread posted earlier - in summary, it seems that this weeks major mistakes in their system were caused by outsourced programmers in India, but were fixed by UK staff who are being made redundant in February due to the outsourcing - personally, I'd not be fixing them quickly and the new year could be very rich pickings indeed.

Kevin. That's not my real name btw, but every other newbie seems to be called Kevin, so I thought I'd get in first....
