Hi...after reading the above post, it now feels right to let you know that I had great success with Moet today..........I cant believe you followed me round these stores...(PM me with your area and I'll confirm or deny)

Set out at 7.30am(thats really early for me)....with the aim of doing 7 stores before lunchtime, with one thing in mind......Moet!!!

Succeeded in all but the last store(which didnt sell it)

36 bottles of Moet today........although I had to move a larger POS along the shelf on 5 occasions.

Sorry thats only 32 today.....one store only had 2 left, but allowed me to pay for 6, (to get the case discount)and pick the others up tomorrow.....although that might be in jeopardy if they read this......

On 2 occasions I was even refunded the full amount before the case discount came into play.......it would have been 4 times had it not been for people butting in saying "thats not right".....

Every store had 2 prices......Why oh why did they not take the smaller £19.15yellow sel away when putting out the new POS.

In the last store I had to settle for 6 bottles of Piersporter for a total of £2.16 after using a couple of the old Asda coupons.

BTW..........according to an SA, their SS tills can't read the date on a coupon.

Had some really easy managers(managers called on each occasion), who agreed immediately, but also had some real difficult ones who found excuse after excuse to not give me the full RandR.

The main arguments stemmed around whether the bottles I had were actuallyMV, as it wasnt written on the bottle.

On 4 occasions I was told they were ringing Dundee for advice

My RandR sabatical must have done me some good.

    I felt pretty sharp today.

I will troll through the previous 2 days postings to thank the OP......36 times....lol........certainly helped me resolve a few Christmas present problems.

EDIT Forgot to thank bluetimone97 who PMed me a question late last night re The POS covering a lower priced SEL on the Moet.......which spurred me into going out this morning......cheers mate.......hope you got yours too.

36 Bottles, sorry but I find this as taking the P

I was just catching up on this thread after popping out, got to page 120 and though no, I must put my views down.

So firstly appoligies if this has been covered anywhere on page 121 or 122.

Whilst I appreciate all the comments, posts, hey even boasts with the attitude of each to thier own when it comes to multiple R&R'ed items (xbox games for example) but 36 BOTTLES, surley this is excessive.

Going to 6 stores clearing out an average of 6 bottles in each leaves no oppertunities for others, especially those who can not always get out from work as soon as a new item is posted.

    Sorry, Rant over

Ok but why not 6 bottles. I dont think he would have gone for 6 bottle in each store if the 25% off 6 or more bottles offer was not on.

But even if he got 1 bottle in each store so 6 in total the sel would have still been removed so if i could get that many i would.

Shplurgh - It is not the yellow special offer SEL's I am talking about, but the individual price SEL's for the bundle packages. I understand about the big yellow labels. Tesco will try an wriggle out of an overcharge where ever possible for something this pricey, but if the advertising is ambiguous or not specific then it makes it much harder for them to defend their position. I will shut up about this now and go and do my own homework because I seem to have got myself stuck in a groove. Sorry if I have been a naus' with this one!

Thats my point, the bundles didn't have any SELs underneath them (an attempt to not get stung?) They just had the £20 off SEL so I didn't have any price to compare the cost of the separates with.

Someone suggested that the bundle was £279.xx - it wasn't, it was £299.xx and was priced higher than the £20 saving (although not by much)

Chipup - you have to learn that if you are going to go for an RnR opportunity then you might as well take advantage of the bulk buy policy and take up to 6 items, because once the CS is alerted to the misprice, the SEL is removed (normally) and so the opportunity for someone else to find that misprice in that store disappears at that stage. It might appear as greed by some people, but it is also about seizing the opportunity. I say 'b@llox' every time I see a SEL missing because I know someone has got there before me, but there are ample opportunities and it is all about 'right time, right place'! I did it today - only small items - Bacon Rashers - SEL 60p Till 72p. But I took 6 bags in 2 stores because I knew once I had alerted them they would be gone and so I filled my boots.
DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!

Because that is what happens when greed clouds the mind
