Yes but if you bought the WWE bundle + another game, the discount would not come off. Although the bundle packages do not appear to be part of the £20 discount offer, there is no disclaimer on the yellow SEL to say the same, in fact the SEL says ANY Xbox console. Once again it is ambiguous wording on the SEL. And there the argument starts.........

Hi i got 6 bottles today, of the Moet Brut champagne...althought the cs kept receipt so dont know exact figures but sel was £19.xx and got charged £21.84 so a definite overcharge.................i went to 2 different tescos after that and the sel was £21.84 and sel was same so no r+r...........basically if the shelf price is £19.xx got for it............good luck ...

I think you may find it actually says "buy an XBOx 360 console with any"........ game

Same price/label as whitemouse75 for me, but no r&r (yet).

Manager refused saying "Do you seriously expect me to give you £100 of champagne for nothing?" I kept calm and said "well, you were happy to overcharge me by nearly £12! It was only by accident that I noticed!"

He still wouldn't budge, but was very persistant on getting me to authorise a credit back to my card. Head Office was closed, so I kept everything and will call tomorrow. First refused r&r - I was shaking like a leaf :eek:

Dont worry HO should agree with you and tell them that a out of date SEL is not your problem.

Okay but does it say 'excludes Xbox bundles' anywhere on the label? They are ambiguous just like the 'PSP £20 saving' SEL's. They did not specify a particular PSP console or exclude any other. And look how many people got a PSP on that promotion.

i didnt manage to get any Champers last night, sorely disappointed, and v envious of the lucky ones :cool:
Got a consolation prize lexmark printer though, interesting conversation with CS during R&R. One said he had been told the policy had changed or was changing to exclude yellow SELs as these change so often and cause so much trouble. Although i cant really see it happening, something along these lines has been mentioned a few times recently by various CS staff.

forgot to add, epson printer SEL expires 12/12, might be one to watch. Checked a few other makes of champers, but all correct
