2 x Finest Boneless Beef Rib Roast joints SEL £7.29/kg, Scan £8.xx/kg, full R&R no questions.0 -
i happen to agree with frenchman. If u could take one of sommin or 5 why not take the latter...chances are cs will remove offending labels hence nobody else would get an r&r anyway...as for those traveling to get r&r's good one em....if u put in the effort you get the rewards!0

Tesco's ethics on mispricing: BAD
Tesco's ethics on adhering to their own promises: BAD
Tesco's ethics in dealing with someone who has been overcharged: BAD
Our ethics when deliberately seeking out a misprice to get an item for free: Well, bad...and good (we ensure others aren't overcharged).
Our ethics when going to lots of different stores to get multiples of items we can't really use: You decide.
I think you are correct....it is down to ethics,,,,,and theres a thread especially for that, here

The above thread was created as the mods forbade us to talk about the ethics of RandRing on this thread, with the threat of closure if it continued....Please be aware.
There's a lot of good reading on that thread......but theres' also a load of crap from Ivan and his mates.Couponing....."every little hurts"

Just a quick question - been looking out for a decent r&r for ages and never seem to find them - at my local Tesco there is even a scanner next to the video games!! But you can't go along scanning the whole shelf can ya (without looking like your after misprices)
Is there any signs of a mis-price i should be looking out for? Whats this business with the xbox's - going tomorrow and am on the look out!!0 -
I have already got a boot full of toys which I will be donating to the
Radio WM xmas toy appeal. It turns up at the Molineux at a match before xmas and all the toys are given to children in homes etc.
That will be my way of saying thanks to Tesco's, and the reason why I often buy more than one of something.
So far there are loads of games (operation, buckeroo etc) the 256mb MP3 player. Some Bob the builder toys, and V tech thingy, honestly I feel really happy that this year although I'm skint, my daughter will have a good xmas and so will some children who's xmas will be pretty chit without the fact they will have nothing on xmas day.We took on Mr T and we won:D
Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -

Clowance wrote:overheard at customer services: "special offer price tag " sometimes photocopied and then replaced on shelf edge after offer ends, hence generating an "overcharge". Scammers then buy loads of the overcharged product and get refunds, apparently selling off the products. This would I imagine be a criminal offence, but seems to go on a fair bit.
I was horrified.
It does happen. Probably more often than gets reported as it is difficult to prove. Greed makes some people do things they otherwise would not even consider.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Um, just to clarify the "ethics" questions in my post were rhetorical. I had hoped that was obvious but it's important to clarify that I did not intend to open any ehtics debate on this (or any other) thread.
The only debate I'm interested in is: can we find a use for extra's we don't need - whether setting up a swap forum or giving to kids in need.0 -

Sorry, I'm not going to give you the quick answer.
After being out all day and part of the evening, I sometimes have to read 300posts to catch up on the days happenings......and really you should be doing the same.....scroll back 200 posts and I'm sure you'll learn a lot from it.Couponing....."every little hurts"
