Been lurking sometime, finally decided to bounce around the thread.
One question about books:
if SEL is say £8.99 and there is a sticker on the book saying £10.99 and I am charged the £10.99 price, is this a rnr?
Just that my local store had about 8 different titles like this..............
Most def a refund and you get to take the books home for free for your troubles!:rotfl:0 -

Generally they will scan at the SEL price, so unless the sticker is marked lower that sel then you are unlikely to overcharged.
but as stated, you are entitled to an r&r if it scans at more than either the sel or the sticker0 -
Got my first rnr on Futurama yesterday but all other stores in my area are now up to date or sold out of Dr who, futurama, Dvd recorder etc
anyway just poped on to "verylittlehelps.com" and on this message bored found this message re all the price prblems they have been having on x boxes etc

Tesco misprices are not un-common and has been going on for years (so not just and Indian thing!!)
They've become a well watched and documented thing, here's one site for example that regularly gets users to post up misprices.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=36
Just look for both the Topics relating to Tesco misprices. They've also linked to this forum in the past so there's no harm in linking back to them!
Go careful using any insider info to get some thing for free, I think it's a sackable offence.

i did think that perhaps everyone was overreacting slightly however they may have a point.
perhaps it would be an idea to start new posts more often so it is harder for (not too often or they could just read the summary of titles).
and perhaps change the title of the thread so it is less likely to be found by searching for exapmle
tel misprices
or
sainsburys or not misprices
or
oops they've done it again
by the way this is my first post as i lost my password but your help has been invaluable and for first time rnr's like i was myself this week it pays to read every post here to get the info you need and you could be benefiting from this policy too.0 -
cheers dOcketts
as i said i counted 8, one of which was the chantelle autobiography, also a stephen king book and I can remember a little britain one among them.
New to this, so never followed it up!! Gutted, but will pay a visit very soon and report back
3 bounce offs v Tesco's, 3 wins = £190+0 -

Interesting .... no more multisaves at that store then!
I have seen varying amounts in different stores ranging from 6 to 10 of one itemTB0
