    Hey guys!

My OH is very at ease with being nekkid infront of me now lol.. He will happily put on a show for me hahahaha - leave that for you to cringe at lol !

He doesn't seem keen on meeting new women or men at all, he really just seems happy with just us two.. I think I'm more bothered about meeting new people and making new mates.

He is a gorgeous guy, to others he's prob a bit short, but we are the same height which is fine for me, but he really is a nice looking guy.. he constantly complains that he has man boobs (he doesn't really as he's a 32" waist!), but has been really happy that badminton had toned his chest up and now wants us to go all the time haha - great for me! I love badminton and had to drag him there initially.

I do think he worries that I'll leave him if I lost weight.. I don't think I would, but who knows if I'm honest. I don't think it would be me losing weight that would cause it, just prob increase my confidence and not allow me to stay if I didn't want to.. saying that, I'm not lacking confidence when it comes to standing up for myself and if it wasn't for me making a massive fuss when he tries to control me then I think he would be 100 times worse. I don't stand for rudeness or ignoring me and will always say something when he does this. Yes, it leads to an argument, but I'd rather get it out and not be hurt and allow it to happen forever more.

If someone said 'I better not be here when he got back' I don't think I would be! how rude!

I much prefer being joint tenants as opposed to him renting in his name or being in his house as I was with my ex! When it all fell apart I pretty much got told to leave.. :( and stayed with a friend for a week until my flat came through. Luckily I have family that helped me out with deposits etc, otherwise I would have been stuck and I never want to be in that position again.

Had a dream the other night that I moved back in with the ex and left everything here behind and I was so sad and regretful that I'd gone back.. and was upset that I had just taken out a sky package and couldn't take it with me or afford it now. Insecurity dream perhaps? it was a strange one..

All in all things are going much better recently, we have both made efforts for the other and I really want it to stay like this.

  • Glad things are settling back down for you it could be that it was just a period of adjustment for you both as you have recently moved into your own place together...:)

    Hey BF,

Badminton is planned for tomorrow 5:30pm, yay - he seems to enjoy it more than me now!

Been uni all day, going well, not long until this year is done, only 8 weeks to go and 2 of those are the Easter Holiday!

My car wing mirror snapped off when I was folding it in yesterday, so I'm looking for a new pair on eBay, doh! One thing after another on that car! It's currently held on with brown tape, how embarrasing! and I'm sure people were driving more erratically around me today because of it lol.

    Pic included! hahaha

  • Afternoon Gem :)

I can't access the pic on here as I am at work and due to the restrictions etc...so will have a peek when I get home.....classy bird eh?? ;) brown parcel tape...might set off a trend...could have been worse I s'pose with yellow insulation tape or summat...Good luck with the ebay hunt....

My car is relatively new but when you are skint ya kinda just hope and pray that nothing goes wrong with it....but yesterday going home from work a woman flashed me and pointed at my car saying that the brake lights weren't working.....luckily my son is a mechanic and he checked the bulbs and both sides had blown...so quick phone call to OH and he picked some up for me on the way home. Son fitted them and voila they are now working ...but the thought of it being something more serious made me panic at cost of what it could be...:o

Hope you have a good afternoon....where's the sun gone???

Yes, the sun has disappeared and I'm not happy about it ! lol

Poor car, first some lorry smashed into it whilst it was parked (£200), then the rear wiper fell off and got me pulled by the Police! Still not fixed and stands me at £50 so far as I need to change the wiper motor, now the wing mirror (£60) - found a pair on eBay from a car bring broken for spares, mine are black, these are silver but as I have a silver car they should actually look better lol. (I hope) ! Tomorrow I am going to be in mechanice mode when the wipers turn up and see what I can fix on it!

I have a silly amount of Uni work for next week. I first draft of a law assignment (not started), half complete my pricing up of a house from plans (not started), surveying project (nearly complete - yay) and an exam on Thurs morning :( so it's all happening at once.

Not even put the TV on today as I'll get sucked into watching some rubbish!

Can't believe both brake lights went! you were lucky that the woman brought it to your attention, especially as it's been a bit foggy (well up here it has)..

Going to get moving with some of this work then!

Oh, and I was looking at sugar addictions on the internet last night, scary.. and I'm def addicted! It causes probably all of my issues, tiredness, weight gain, irritability, lack of concentration, dehydration etc etc.. http://www.beatingaddictions.co.uk/SugarAddiction.html (dunno if you can open at work) It basically describes me exactly!

We went out at the weekend and I had a massive sugar low, couldn't hardly stand up straight.. so went and got a pic n mix from the sweet emporium shop.. 3 or 4 sweets later I was back to 'normal'.. I'm scared I'm doing myself permanent damage with the sugar.. being overweight is one thing, but when you are getting lightheaded, faint, dizzy and can't function without a sugar top up then It's not good! :( I've been having loads of energy drinks lately, and sweet things, so I've got to stop it!

Went to badminton last night though, had a great time, really worked hard! Even fell over at one point lol.

Anyone know a correlation between a natural high and a sugar high? We had a slight break and I had a few mouthfulls of an energy drink (mountain dew - they were handing them out free at Uni on Tues), and then for 10 mins after that I was mega sluggish and struggled to get back into it.

Anyhow, best get some work done! Hope you have a great day!

    Where's Jinky nowadays? Jinkyyyyyy???! :D

  • Happy St Patricks Day !!

Its lovely and sunny here in Leeds Gem :) wish I was outside instead of stuck in doors but then I have a choice and a lot of the other peeps don't have so I guess that I should be grateful.

Hope the essay writing is going well....:T

Thanks BF, I've managed to avoid any work at all so far :o must get started though!

It was really foggy in Leeds yesterday when I was in Uni :( typical! Oh and a Uni friend text and said they are handing out free bottles of Mountain Dew again today lol. I managed to get 5 bottles and a plastic wristband on Tuesday! No wonder I've gone sugar mad!

You'll be glad of being indoors when it rains haha.. but yeah, having a job is becoming quite rare nowdays it seems. I went to York the other day with a CV to apply for a job that would fit perfectly around uni, just a part time retail job, I have loads of experience and used to be a retail store assistant manager only this time last year. Not heard back from them though :(

Also applied for my dream job by post too, an old college friend messaged me about it on facebook last week. It's basically a starting engineering type job with a certain large bridge near Hull ;) I probably won't get it as I'm at uni, although it did ask for you to be studying towards your HND, which I am, so not sure how that will all work out. Really good pay, ideal job on bridges/highways, I'd love it. Chances of getting it? 5% ! :o

    All praise the sun!

It's evil stuff and does seem to cause me a few of the issues listed.

Going to eat the stuff we have in the house and just try to replace with healthier stuff, can't afford to just throw out stuff lol..
