Whoops. Didn't make a piece of sense. I went jogging and now KNOW I have to give up the ciggies, was wheezing like an old man!

evening all,

had a horrible day , phoned mum this morning who insisted that dad goes in a home full time, would not even listen to the idea of a live in assistant.

Then sis and I went to see dad, who broke down in tears,and was begging us to take him home, he is in a place with people with full blown dementia, and he is still fairly with it, he told us that he loved us, and that we were so precious to him, although I have always knows that he loved us, they have never been ones to say it, its as if he was saying goodbye

We then went to mums, and were looking for paperwork from the social worker, only to find loads of paperwork stuffed everywhere, mum has got herself into about £3k worth of debt


Have just about had enough, I want someone to come and take over, I have had enough of being the strong one, and I just want my dad back

Oh, Redruby. That's an awful situation for you to be in. And to find out about your Mum's debts on top of it all! I pray that you get something sorted soon that you can all live with.

Dear Redruby, you are in my thoughts and prayers. The visit with your dad sounds heartbreaking. Sounds like everything has got on top of your mum and she is not facing up to the real world. Hopefully you and your sister can support each other and work a way through all this trauma, with love, Silver x
