Hester that's really poor. Don't these people realise the knock-on effect that their lack of organisation causes. 30 miles worth of petrol and your time!!
Jaxx sounds like you've got a good team there. Happy knitting.

Didn't go out shopping in the end. OH was down in the dumps today, well we both were.
This horrible weather is really getting us down. OH would love to move abroad and with the job he does it would be possible so we have been on the web all day looking for info and have submited our information online to see where we would stand  We have talked about it for 2 years. We sold our house last year and are currently renting and I know for a fact that we have both dragged our heals at looking for another house because we know if we buy somewhere it is unlikley we would make the move abroad.
We did go out for lunch though so no dinner for us as we are both stuffed. DD is at a friends for dinner so only DS who is little and eats hardly anything to feed.

Hi Chums thank you for all your healing vibes.I went to the Drs and saw the relief Drs and she gave me some powerful anti bios to get it down.My immune system has been shot since the chemo, but fingers crossed that they will soon kick in The stuff I had at home is good but apparently these new capules are even better.I'd cross my fingers but i can't just at the moment . I'm typing this with my left hand so its taking twice as long as I'm right-handed.
DD arrived with a cream cake and lots of 'there,ther-ing bless her.She changed my bed for me and took the stuff off to wash at her house.Last night I was so hot I felt like I was in a sauna.Temperature has come down today thank goodness.
Taplady we are staying at a place called Bockleton, near Tenbury Wells.I am hoping there are some nice walks nearby as we both like walking ,in my case as long as its not too hilly. We also like National Trust places, charity shops and anywhere there are bookshops.Plus I'm hoping the weather will brighten up by then as well, around six week time I think
Hope everyone is having a good day
Cheers JackieO xx0 -
Afternoon All.
Its the man 'flu land hereDs1 Ds2 and OH are all ill. OH is getting no sympathy as he's had it for almost a week, and was coughing and spluttering all over my children which is why they are sick, so they're off school. Luckily he is off today and I have managed to get an annual leave day tomorrow - fingers crossed they get back on Wednesday (for their school pictures), which also happens to be MIL's birthday and they can't go see her if they have anything because her immune system is so poor, and her lungs are so weak
House is driving me insane, car is still poorly but the garage can't see it til Wednesday, and AF arrived too, which means my cycle is down to 19 days
Anyway
Lowesy, you will soon enough be going on about greetin' weans, nappies, teething, sleepless nights and smelling of baby puke 24hours:j:j:j
JackieO glad the doc has got you sorted out with something nice and strong, hope it clears quickly.
Redruby a live in carer sounds like a good idea.
Last I heard from Lou she still wasn't very well, and in a lot of pain, and LO had been ill again
Hope everyone else is good.
Hugs spoons and hifives all round.
