Hooray Nationwide refunded in full today. Recieved 5 payments equalling exact money claimed with interest & mcol fee = £2119.14
I was due to press the judgement button on monday & must have checked my bank 20 times a day this week... was stunned when it was there earlier.

Big thank you to martin & everyone who has been so helpful on this thread :money::money::money::money:

    Well done!!:T  :j

I'm still confused with the dates. The status my mcol shows as acknowledged on 03/07/07. Does the 28 days run from this date? Sorry to be thick, just getting nervous!!!
    Amount being claimed from Nationwide - £2794.50 + £524.09 in interest = £3318.59 + court fees = £3438.59
    lodged with Moneyclaim online 29/06/2007

Amount to be claimed from HSBC - £730.00 (charges only). Email sent to customer relations 01/07/2007 & letter sent by recorded delivery 02/07/2007 (to be on the safe side!!!!!!)

  • Hi there could anyone offer me any advice on submitting a claim against Nationwide with moneyclaim online.

I have sent them the template letters, however they just send back a letter giving me the usual stupid reply about my complaint, lol I have used the calculator to compile the charges with interest total's £1014.09 {one thousand and fourteen pounds nine pence}, however since then they have charges me more can i add this to my money claim online claim?,also do i need to compile a bundle if so what should this consist of any help would be great. from reading articles on this forum it appears they only pay out at the last minute around the 27th day this seems even more stupid to me as they have to pay the court fee as well. Any help would be great kind regards mick

The 28 days is up from the date the case was deemed served to Nationwide i.e. 5 days after you filed the claim with MCOL. e.g. My case was deemed served on 11/07/07 and Nationwide acknowledged on 12/07/07. The judgement date is due 28 days from 11/07/07.

    Hope that makes sense!!

  • The answer is YES to adding charges on but my advice to you is to get an n1 form from the court rather than using the MCOL.

  • Hi does anyone know what a court bundle should consist of as i only have letters from my bank, and letters to them, along with a list of my charges, and another list using martins calculator to add the interest, would that be satisfactory? cheers from mickyboy10001.:money:

This is a question to any other Nationwide Customers who have tried to reclaim bank charges. I recently received a letter frm the bank saying it was there policy not to pay out for unfair charges, and i was wondering ifanyone else had had this and what they did next? As im unsure as to wether i should be pursuing this matter? Please help??

They sent me a letter saying that it woud be unfair to other members to refund my charges. It is unfair to ALL members to waste their money on paying court fees, when they are going to pay up anyway
