Just a follow on, is this a standard response from the banks/building societies?
I will be sending the next letter threatening courts.

    Thanks again in advance

    Karl

Yep, as you'd thought, it is one of their many standard bog off letters, good luck with your claim,

    An update on my claim.....

Nationwide missed the deadline to enter their Allocation Questionnaire so the court made an order for them to submit their AQ by a certain date or have their defence struck out. A few days later they submitted their AQ. I'm not sure I would have been given an extension of over 2 weeks if I missed filing essential paperwork, but there you go.

Got a letter from the court yesterday giving me a court date in late NOVEMBER. Great. This is starting to get to me now!

Well guess I'll just have to wait 6 months

    Regards

It's been a week since I got judgement by default, how long should I give them before I issue a warrant of execution?

I think you will find that Nationwide will pay several amounts into your account
shortly if they haven't done so already. It is Barclays, Lloyds and Natwest
    clogging up the Courts.

I know you have probably heard all this before but their is a twist in my story!!

I am going thru the claiming process (have followed all the templates to the letter) and have started the MCOL (paid £120) to claim back £2300 ish. Just logged in today and the status on MCOL says Defence 11/05/07 the 28 days was originally going to run out on the 16th June but now I don't understand what is going to happen.

The twist is this, I am in the Royal Navy and will soon be going off to Afghanistan, will i need to sort out a day for court, i have not had this questionaire that everyone else has had, Can someone put my mind at ease and my wifes too. As i dont want to lumber her with this when i go off to Afghan.

this is what it says on my MCOL Login page

    Hi,
I Hope Someone Can Help. I Pressed For Judgment On 5/6 And It Was Accepted But Then The Next Day Mcol Showed That Nationwide Had Put In A Defence On 30/4 And That My Claim Has Been Rejected. I Then Recieved A Notice Of Judgment Rejected Stating That My Claim Has Been Rejected For The Following Reason - A Bar On Judgment/enforcement Is In Place.
Does This Mean I Will Now Have To Go To Court?

Also I Entered My Name The Wrong Way Round On The Original Mcol Form Will This Make A Difference To My Claim ?
    Thanks
    Lorna

I'm now waiting for a court date in regard to my nationwide claim.
I did get a letter saying how they have put £201 in my bank account (interest & court cost included) which is only half so I sent a letter back today saying that I will except as part payment only.
I also sent the copy of the court form that says they have paid all costs (it's half!?) and a copy was sent back to the court also.

Anyone else got to this stage? How long did it take before they gave it all back? :p

I'm still waiting for the court date for my monument Credit card... 3 weeks since mycol finished! big backlog :o
