Went to moneyclaim, They acknoledged the claim. With 1 day to go they paid all monies including costs and interest into my account. Got a letter the following day telling me if i get a charge again they will close my account.
Well we will see about that. lol0 -
I have just filled two claims against NW and won them both!!

My Judgment day is 12th of June but for some reason I decided to check my accounts online today?!! and low and behold they have paid up ...... well not all of it!!! They havn't paid up the full amounts that included the statutory interest or the court fees which in total adds up to £1,067.32!!
Should I wait til the 12th and see if any more money 'appears' in my accounts or should proceed in getting it back NOW!!!
Oh and there was no letter either admitting their fault or telling me that it had been refunded!!

Oh! and last month they have charged me £270 on one account and £190 on the other! Should I ask for this back as well or just ask at the branch to re adjust seeing as tho they have admitted their fault by repaying my claim initially??

Yep, as it says...i won my case and got me money back! Today is the 28th day and a letter was on my mat when I returned home this eve. Details are:
Claimed: £2242.96
Refunded: £2267.01 (inc Claim Fees)
Basically, its a little less than I'd asked for but the letter included a breakdown that they'd worked out, which I'm fine with. The rest of the letter included the usual posturing of 'we reserve the right to close your account if we do not comply with their terms and conditions etc.'
So, firstly I have to say a massive thanks to Martin and his team for the fantastic service that they are providing and for encouraging us all to stand firm.
Secondly, a massive thanks to the rest of you who've contributed to this forum with your questions and experiences. Its a massive boost when you're feeling nervous about taking a bank to court. I think I can relax now.
And finally, to the rest of you still going through the process, don't give up! Be strong and go get your money back.

Hi All, recived notice of transfer of proceedings yesterday but not the allocation questionnaire. Letter reads that "The filling of an allocation questionnaire be dispensed with in this case unless the District Judge a the court of transfer orders otherwise".
Can anyone tell me what will or may happen next as still want to fight all the way.
Thanks

I get to press judgement tonight I think... I'm claiming from Monument as well and I found that it was another 3 days before I could press judgement when I thought I could... so might be another couple of days for this one too
When I got home yesterday I had a letter from Nationwide saying they had put £141.91 in my account including £30.00 (MYCOL) and £29.56 for interest - I've just checked my account online and there is £201.47 in my bank :j
'correction £141.92 and 'Credit by Cash' for the rest :T
wooohooooooo :T :T :T :T :T :T
Finally things are moving on!
I'm going to write back today and say I will accept this as a partial offer and will push on for the rest...
so is it ok to transfer this money to my new bank account? (got a new job and decided time for a new bank! My new bank messed up starting the account - I complained and got £30 - thanks to this site :T)

Just checked MYCOL and Nationwide entered a judgement on the 8th May 07! so can't press judgement then!
does anyone think I should just call them and say 'partial acceptance only' .. I can record the conversation on my mobile.
