Sounds like you have an Additions Account.
The account fee is just that. a Fee for to the bank for running the account. much like Gym membership. You probably get some additional features with your account ie Travel Insurance or RAC cover. You can not reclaim this.0 -
damn
thanks for letting me know, they bloody conned me then, i don't go on holidays and i don't even drive, i've never had any benefits from being with them. as soon as my over draft is paid off, i'm moving

I started the court process against Barclays last week for the massive sum of £25. They totally ignored me when I asked for it back. Now, they can add on interest and court costs. Silly Barclays...With all of my dietary restrictions, I'm left with lipstick and water0

An update to my earlier post.
I tried to request a judgment from the money claim site today but it will not let me as it says the time period has not elapsed.
It's all a little confusing, as it uses phrases like '28 days (have not) elapsed since the date the defendant was served with the claim' Does this mean 28 clear days?
My claim was issued on 31/1/07. The 'date of service' is meant to be five days later ie 5/2/07. There is a reference in the MCOL details that a day of grace is given if a 14/28 day period ends on a weekend or Bank Holiday.
Very confusing!
I'm resigned to logging on to the site and trying to request a judgment until it lets me do it.
I'll keep you posted...0 -
