Three separate claims will be better
Threee claims would require 3 seperate court costs if I'm right, is there any way these can be combined into 1 claim and if so how would it be done? Is there anyone else who has combined a number of accounts into 1 claim?
Many Thanks0 -

If I'm right you have two personal accounts and one business account. Now if you put all three claims together they will credit one account with any successful claim. What happens if this account is your business account with a large overdraft? I'm not saying you have a large overdraft on any of your accounts BUT this is why I suggest WHEN/IF it comes to going to court that you make your claims separate.
But please lets not worry about court when the first letters haven't been sent off yet0 -

You should list each charge, with the date, amount and a description and do several copies as you may well need this list at a later stage.0 -

Many thanks for the advice, the business and 1 current account are now closed. The other current account is still open with no overdraft. I will get my letters sent off and see what happens after that.
Just one other thing, do I send a seperate letter to each branch for each account or send them to the same address (please referre to original post for details)?
Thanks again.0 -
If they are at different branches I would send the letters to the different branches.0

Folks,
I'm wondering what I should write on the cover letter for the court bundle... does this sound alright?CASE NUMBER: XXXXXXXX
Dear Sir / Madam,
Please find enclosed the requested court bundle in relation to my small claim against Barclays Bank Plc, case number shown above.
Yours faithfully,0 -
Well I'm currently claiming back on 2 Barclays accounts
£285 on one first
£355 on the second
Their 14 days was up today and in the post this morning I was offered £150 on the account of £355, as a good will gesture.
I am also claiming on behalf of my boyfriend 2 accounts with Lloyds TSB. Their 14 days is also up today and we jave heard nothing from them at all!!
Going to now decline their offer and send the last letter offering a further 7 days before I start the court route.
Wish me luck!

Hi all
I have never posted on here before but have been reading avidly and taking lots of advice regarding my claim against Barclays.:money:
Having just received the standard 'we are sorry you have a complaint' letter and being told i have to wait 4 weeks:mad: , i decided to phone them up as they indicated in their letter.
I was told by both customer services and customer complaints in two separate phone calls that under no circumstances has anyone ever been made an offer or negotiated with over the phone in regard to unfair bank charges!!!! Interesting thought........told them they really ought to log on to this site as they may learn something! They said they would take a look but were still adament that this had never happened...if you are reading this Barclays and Craig Paterson perhaps you can explain it in your next letter to me which i look forward to receiving very soon!
Have to say the girl in customer complaints was very sniffy with me. I pointed out to her that Craig Patterson was dealing with my complaint and could i speak to hime but apparently he was a bit busy and could not be contacted directly and they were fielding his calls! I then pointed out that their leaflet says i will have a named person and his contact details in regard to my complaint and that i didn't seem to have Craigs contact details so can i have them please, she then backed down and said that if i insisted she would obviously have to put me through to him!
Wanted to know what others thought of all this and to let you know what barclays are telling people.........thinks i am finally working out exactly the type of bank i have been dealing with!!
Thanks:T0 -
Took our form into the court this morning and didn't have to pay any more than we had already paid when we sent the original form in on-line.
Now it's a waiting game!!!!!0
