Hi all,
I have just printed my first letter to request statements/ list of charges from barclays, and then to start proceedings, I dont know why but I feel very scared, so wish me luck and I will keep you all posted on how I get on.

Hi, I have a large overdraft with Barclay's and was hoping to reclaim my bank charges as, over the years, this will run into hundreds if not thousands! My only concern is about my overdraft, can they remove the facility - I imagine they might want to do something at their discretion if I start this battle?! Thanks ... K0

Any overdraft is payable on demand. The bank can withdraw that facility at any point.0

Update from Me
I am trying to get 1000 from barclays in charges and interest . So far i have just sent my letter back to the court with my allocations questionnaire. Did that on Fri so they have received it by now- so sit tight and wait and see what happens now.
_ Spotlight news ( Devon) ran a story today on a lady who had claimed back some charges and the local MP was speaking about it today saying how unfair the banks were being blah blah - so either the banks will fight back or I will wait for my cheque.

Hi all, this is my first post as i am about to embark on reclaiming bacnk charges from Barclays. I am first trying to work out how much i hav ebeen charged. Do i write the letter to my account holding branch or to the head office of barclays? I guess sending it to the wrong one will result in further delays0

I am trying to claim around 570 from Barclays.
Sent the letters up to rejecting their initial offer. They have now come back saying that they cannot mutually agreee to a solution.
What do I do now?0 -
Well I am stuck - I lost my job before Christmas and all oof my letters where saved on my computer at work. I was at the last stage with barclays and they had not replied to any of my letters. I should have taken them to court in December but I have not had the money to do so. As I have left it so late now do I have to start the process again or can I take them to court from now - as I have a new job and money.
Also I have a few other charges since I first claimed can i add them on? I would appreciate some help with this as I am very nervous about taking my bank to court as I am sure you all were.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Right, I have a date for my court hearing with Barclays - 13th Feb.
I'm trying to gather as many things together as I can to scare the bank, ha ha!
Any tips & advice? Do I need to write to the judge, if so what should I say? What documents should I put in my case, I've printed off the OFT's report of April 2006 where they state it is unlawful and my Banks terms and conditions. Is there anything else I can submit to sdtrengthen my case?
Obviously I will submit all my letters and theirs and my statements etc.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!0
