It weas for the £8, and the £30 & £35 charges. I want my money back but they budge. What do I do now?0

Can someone direct me to the letter template , if it exists? have been searching for half an hour now! and if possible the address for barclays which i send it to? or are people just sending their letters to head office?
many thanks0 -
I have an 'on-hold' claim with Barclays for £3500 charges. The letter I wrote to them detailing this amount was written on 07/07/2007.
I am now writing to them under the financial hardship clause, and notice that the (updated) letter template still mentions that "I request that you repay all the default charges that have been applied to my account during the past six years from the date of this letter".
I am therefore a little confused...do I have any right to reclaim any additional charges which have been incurred in the 18 months or so since my initial letter to Barclays?0 -
I suppose that the answer is no and you require to stipulate a seperate claim for other amounts.
I am infuriated by these organisations that we will be shortly slammed for tax for keeping these people in jobs and them insisting on still claiming bonuses. Surely not being made redundant in this economic climate from their business going bust should be enough??? That is probably a subject for a seperate forum.
I presume the banks (if they do) will only payout what you demand.0 -
OK, this opens up another question then! Am I able to put in a second claim for any additional charges incurred since the dates stipulated in my original letter?0
-
As its on hold, do it tonight before any final decision is reached by the High Court. It will likely be placed as a seperate claim, however it may be possible to arrange both to be judged at once - though not sure on this.
Similar to this thread, I have tried to get information from my bank about charges made before a change of address 3.5 yrs ago but they refuse to give any information for previous address. ICO is involved but all I have had back is a phone number for a bank agent to discuss this with.
The bank refuses to give any contact emails or numbers for out of hours discussion - no use if U work and commute.0 -
Hmmm...interesting! Seems like I will be getting my calculator out tomorrow! Thanks for the advice0
