    Hi

I'm looking for some advice really.

I started this process way back on 26th February with Barclays and followed the standard procedure, sending the letters, threatening court action, filing with MCOL, turning down a pathetic offer etc. etc.

I received my 'Notice of Transfer of Proceedings' to my local court (Medway) and this was dated 10th May.

I STILL haven't heard anything from the court, despite putting in a couple of calls to them. I have been told that my paperwork was sent to the judge on 15th May and is STILL with him (they currently have a 5 week back log), and until it's returned by the judge with how he wants to proceed, i.e., further info request and/or court date confirmation, I can't do anything?

Does anyone have any suggestions of anything I can do to jog this along?

    Any advice gratefully received!
    Thanks,

Im just sat here wondering about this 'striking out the defence' as this may be whats going to happene to us. So do they get time to resubmit a better defence then it goes before a judge and we get a hearing date ? or do we then win by default if it gets struck out?

Just rang and spoke to the litigation dept - I have a claim worth around £4k and a court date in August.

He explained that they are dealing with June and July's claim only at the moment, and I should call back in July.

They sound very harrassed there - I wonder why!!!

Does anybody know the telephone number to Barclays Legal/Litigation department.

I am currently at the stage of waiting for Barclays to submit a deffence but I thought I would give them one last chance to settle by speaking to them on the phone. I have tried several Barclays numbers but I am having trouble getting through to the right department. Nobody wants to speak with me as they say as it now at the court stage the papers have been passed to the legal department..

    Thanks

Decided to accept the £1,300 offered rather than hold out for the £2K I'm owed (inc. interest). Thanks to all!
