I am claiming £1915 (EXCLUDING INTEREST), I have today received an offer from barclays of £1435 which is £480 short of what i am claiming back. Is it worth accepting this?? or do you know anyone who has rang up and negotiated a new deal?, to be honest I would be happy to accept about £1700.

    Hi
I have just received an offer from Barclays, claiming £1700 offered £1350, phone them to try and get a better offer but they are not budging!!!!!
  • How long did it take you guys to get statements from Barclays back ? I currently nearly up to the 40 day limit so will be reporting them to the IC if I haven't got them by then, I've emailed them rang them to no avail, customer services just say we have a backlog etc, I didn't have a problem with Lloyds, Cap one and Argos, guess im just impatient...... lol :D

I sent out the third letter a couple of weeks ago and I'm about to start MCOL. Gave them a bell and they said there was an offer being sent out today. About 65% of claim so unfortunately its MCOL. People on the phone where fine though no off handed replies and accepted that I wasn't going to accept. Just told me to send the reply in the PPE.

Does anyone know the number to call at Barclays to chase for your statements - their 40 days since I requested the statements, was up on Monday this week and I've given them another 3 days - Does anyone know who I should call. I sent them the letter and money to cover their costs registered post to them so they can't dispute receiving it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers :grouphug:
