Can I claim back charges off a closed account???

We are about to send the initial letter to Barclays requesting six years worth of statements or bank charges. We do not have a cheque book as we are in a 'managed account' with a DMP. Can we send a postal order??

I have been reading the info on claiming back bank charges and am a little confused.
My partner and I have had four current accounts with Intelligent Finance and a joint account with Cooperative Bank. When I sent the £10.00 off do I sent it off per bank account of just £10 to each bank.
I would appreciate anyones help on this.

I have taken steps to claim my bank charges back but the account im claiming off hs been closed for about 18 months. Can anyone give me any insight into whether ive still got a right to claim or not. Much appreciated:think:

I'm not an expert here but from what I've read theres no reason why you can't claim on closed accounts as long as the charges you're claiming are within 6 years.

The accounts i was charged for the most are previous accounts that i no longer hold and i now realise i have no sort code an account numbers to go by, can i find this out and still claim?
