Thanks, Don't know how I missed that!! I thought I'd read the whole article. Another Q though; Natwest have told me I don't need to pay for my statements so can I skip the whole cheque part?:dance:One good turn gets most of the duvet!! :dance:0

I'll pop you into the NatWest thread, it seems to be varying times as to how quick you get or indeed don't get your statements back from NatWest just on the last few posts of the thread.0

Hi again
Just want to clear up some finer details.
First letter received by Natwest on 8th Feb 2007. Do they have 14 working days or 14 days in total including the weekends?
If they reply within the 14 days saying "sorry about how you feel, we are looking into it" do I send the second letter immediately or wait the 14 days?
I am presuming the second letters 7 day deadline is the same as the first letter, ie 7 working days or 7 days in total?
Finally the courts. I shall repost nearer the time, if it gets that far, but from what I have read it seems the court application form is fairly straightforward, except for one section I have seen. But shall repost nearer the time to clear that up.0 -
Having opened a new account with A&L (dont tell NW yet!!) can I shut down my NW account before they offer me a payout or should I wait and see how my claim goes first?
Thanks for your help0 -

The time frame of either 7 or 14 days are days in total from the time the bank is presumed to have received your letter. Take the w/end into accounts if you say sent off your letter today the bank will not be receiving it until Monday at the earliest.0
