 Well friends, I just did it! MCOL, paid my £120 now the real fun begins.
I sort of knew that I wouldn't be one of the lucky ones that just had to ask. My life's like that. But........ There will be one hell of a party when I bank Mr Higley's cheques for £4532 + Interest £964.32, oh, and my £120 for the court too.Whoever said "it's only money" had too much of it!;)
Nat West under my belt £4532, LTSB, £7300, Barclays, £2300, First Bank of America, £3200. Rates overcharge £1700. Just working on Egg0 -

Well people have Faith, as for me my claim started on the 22nd of dec 06, sent the 2 standard letters, didnt even get a response , was real panicking, as i felt they were going to take me to court, but with encouragement from this board, i went on to MCOL, 14 DAYS later i get a letter from RBS offering a cheque with the full amount plus charges £550 and with the promise of me not disclosing the settlement to anyone else, so people hang on, even if u don't get any responce just keep going........Impossible is nothing...:D:D0

Hi - just to reinforce the fact that this process works. It only took two letters & Nat West paid out £600. I have two further claims ongoing against HSBC and Abbey . Currently in the position where they have sent me 'holding' letters stating they will investigate my enquiry. I've given them another 14 days & forewarned them the next correspondence will include court papers. Let's hope that shifts them.
Thanks for all the advice & support this site has given.0 -
what address did you send your letters too!0

when you say your account is with credit management do you mean an external credit company or that you have a managed loan with the bank?0

Does anyone know i am claiming from Nat West for 2 acccounts and have a managed Loan with them does that mean that any money i get will be paid to the loan account or will it be paid into account im claiming for?

Well time was up yesterday for Natwest to file a defence...and guess what, at the last minute they filed a defence. Checked on MCOL today and it said 'Defence' and I thought oh !!!!!!!!
Anyhow I have received their defence today, it's all abit vague and rubbish really....so I have to go onto the next stage...do I need to worry?? I am not a lucky person and can just imagine that I will be one of the people that loses...ahhhhh!!0 -
