As long as the total of the claims for both accounts is less than £5000 before interest is added. Claim for both accounts in one court claim. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Also how long is it now from yesterday untill I go to court.:T
Many thanks0 -

I have not heard from our Stuart Higley, so need to do the M.C.O.L thing.I will have to wait until next week ( pay day) as I don't have £120 spare this week.:o
I made the mistake of asking for interest, in my first 2 letters, shall I fill in the proforma again for interest or keep ot the same?
What do I do about the new charges added to my account in the mean time? Since letters sent.
Why are Nat West so adhoc in their approach, there are loads of success stories, where they pay up without a fight, others before court and others where they enter a defence and become very difficult and bullying. I reaaly feel a bit nervous about what to expect.:eek:0 -
It really seems like Natwest are decided who and when to make offers to based on merit - ie if you have an existing account with them and have quite a bit of money going through it regularly they are more likely to pay up without a fight.
They've ignore both of my letters so far (my account was closed in 2004) so I guess I'm one of the unlucky ones!0 -

I'm not so sure about that unfortunatly.
My wifes wages still goes into our account with them every month, as did mine ( .. for 20 years) before I opened up an Alliance & Leicester account and had my wages paid into that one ( .. and also got my mortgage taken out from the A&L one aswell .. I made sure they couldn't touch our house (again) by doing that).
It made no difference to the NW .. loyalty counted for zilch .. and I'm fighting them to the finish :jNat West = CONQUERED: 10/02/07 .. PAID UP IN FULL .. OVER £2800!! :j0 -
No, My account is an existing one, and I have above average wages going in each month. I think they do eany, meany miney, moe with the letters.

Although it does seem that the ones they pay out quickly, are for lesser ammounts.I think there is no logic to there madness.

My Nat West story so far....
Dec 06 I wrote using Martins first letter asking for the list of Charges for an account that I had closed in Jan 06
Recieved letter from Bank within a week telling me that the account Number and Sort Code that I had given them does not exist..how strange as I had this account for several years...
So I wrote back to them asking them to re-check there records.
Then just over a week later I received all the statements in a brown envelope with no letter from the Bank
I calculated the charges £1600 including Interest and sent these to the Bank using Martins second letter asking the Bank to refund my monies etc....
Today I received a letter from the Bank askng me to send them a copy of my signature so that they can release the Bank Statements to me.........?
The reason I have posted this story is because I believe that the Nat West do not know what they are doing , so as a reply to Mishmash keep going and do not falter as personally I am taking this all the way....
Good Luck to all in this Process and thankyou to all that have posted threads as it has given me the confidence to face the Bank on this issue.0
