  • Hi,

I was just wondering can I claim the fee for the Allocation Questionnaire if I need to fill one in.

I earn less than 10,000 and get familiy tax and working tax.

If I can does anyone know what form I would need.

    Thanks :money:
  • You need to go to your local court rather than use the online system.

If you had issued your claim in your local county court (not online) you could probably have claimed for free from the start (it looks like you qualify).

When the AQ arrives, it will be sent from your local county court. Phone them, and speak to them about fees.

Hi everyone. Just a first post about my situation. I've been visiting the site for information to claim again my bank recently and it's been a great help.

Anyhow my Natwest account was closed a few months ago and then i heard about all this claiming business and i decided to give it a go as i've paid a hell of a lot of money in charges in the time i had an account with Natwest and as it had already been closed down i had nothing to lose.

I used the template from the site for my first letter requesting my bank statements. Eventually they all came and i added all the figures up. The charges including interest on an overdraft which i didn't have brought all the charges to nearly £3000.

I dated, labelled and broke down all the charges on a excel spreadsheet and sent them in with the letter 2 template into my local branch giving them 14 days to respond.

    Today i received my response.

Thank you for your letter dated 9th January 2007 regarding charges applied to your account. We are currently considering your claim and will respond to you as soon as possible.

that was from a Stuart Higley (Customer Relations)

I tried going through this thread to see if anyone has received this response also but the thread is sooo huge it's probably easier to ask this way.

I'm just curious as to the best way to approach it now. Leave it and see if they get back to me? Write back to them after the 14 days? Write back now.

It would be good to hear other people's claims similar to mind.

Oh and i'd like just to say fantastic site, keep up the good work everyone!
  • Hi

I bank with natwest and I am considering claiming my charges back which have piled on ever since i left their employ a year ago. my a/c is still over its limit by a considerable sum. does anyone know if that will affect my claim or not.

After all it was their charges that got me into this downwards spiral.

    cheers

  • Hopes this help someone if you get working/family tax benifit you can still apply online pay the £30 - £120 then do a search on there website for form
EX160A , fill it in then post it back with your case number and copys of the wtc/ctc forms and you get a refund. Only thing is I think you need to have earnings of £15.000 or below to get a refund .If im wrong please let me know so I can edit this.

When the 14 days are up, send them the second letter, when the next 7 days are up, start the court claim.

Just because you have had a repsonse stating that they are looking into it, it still means they only have the 14 days to do so. Unless you decide you want to give them more time of course.
