Received reply to my 2nd letter giving them 7 days. Guess who from, yes the infamous Stuart Higley.
Same reply as to my previous letter "i am sorry that we have not yet been able to respond to you and would ask that you bear with us in the meantine. We are currently investigating and will respond to you as soon as possible".
Basically my claim is on the pile with all the others i expect. Well just to say, they have until next wednesday when i will submit a court claim. However, i think i will give them one last change and ring them before. You never know.

Good luck, you are a few steps ahead of me so I will be watching to see how you go, please keep us updated.
I may have missed it,but how much is your claim for? I'm not being nosey (well I am) My one is ££2956 without interest. I think I have been very bad, it seems much higher than others on the site.
I bet Mr Higleyis getting a fair bit of over time at the moment, he will be putting Martin on his Christmas card list:money:

I have a court date <wibble>
Letter from London Mercantile Court saying:
"Your case has been allocated the folio number XXXXX which is the number to be used in future correspondence.
There will be a Small Claims Hearing in this case and several others which raise the same or similar issues at XXX on XXXXXXX. The hearing is intended to give directions for the hearing of some or all these cases in a way which saves time and expense. It is hoped that all parties will attend but if that is not practicable the Court will be pleased to consider the written views of any party provided that these reach the Court by no later than XXXXX."
Help! Has anyone else had a similar letter?
Also, since making my original claim I've been stung for a couple of hundred pounds more by the thieving evil that is Natwest - can I / should I claim this too, and if so how?0 -

I'm in the middle of trying to reclaim my charges, but i've hit a problem.
If i've received no reply by monday, i can send a letter to the bank telling them that "having received no response", i'll be taking legal action and, if you've read the letter templates "such and such a" court will rule in my favour.
My problem is, I've now moved to Liverpool and I have no idea which court I should refer to in my letter.
Can someone help me?0 -
I'm claiming against NatWest and I was wondering - what is the furthest a case has gone with NatWest according to people this site?
Has everyone been succesful?0 -

Stuart Higley hasnt replied to me either and now stupid printer isnt working so will have to wait till mon to print my next letter!
dont really want to do the whole court thing either, but am starting to believe that this may be my only course of action..'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

I think we are all a bit worried about the court thing, but I have taken lots of comfort from all the info and help on this site. My finances are in such a mess I am more scared of not managing them than going to court.
What have we got to loose really? I bet the Banks are more worried than us.
Hope you get your printer sorted, I forgot to do enough copies of mine, so had to get teenage daughter to do the scan thing. I really need to get into the 21st century.
Keep us posted on how you get on, we need to stick together. I am a great believer in strenghth in numbers.;)
Good luck.0
