I may have missed it,but how much is your claim for? I'm not being nosey (well I am) My one is ££2956 without interest. I think I have been very bad, it seems much higher than others on the site.
I bet Mr Higleyis getting a fair bit of over time at the moment, he will be putting Martin on his Christmas card list:money:

Thanks for that, Once I have done with this claim I intend to do it on my store cards and 2 cards that I am now repaying but defaulted on.:o
This site has been a godsend to me, as I got into a mess I just felt embarrassed I think the banks and other financial companys take advantage of you when you are most vulnerable.
Well I am determined to get myself sorted, and getting my money back from all the !!!!!! Turpins out there will be a great start.:D
We will all have to arrange to have a virtual on line party when we are rich. Mish Mash0 -

If i was you, i would start the ball rolling now, you have to give 40 days for statements/copy charges etc, (well you know the process). Why wait. If you wait you risk law changes etc. Dont forget that most of the shareholders to banks are high court judges/mps etc. Do you think that they want to lose out. No of course not, so they will be looking at ways to stop this..... So do not delay and send your initial letters now, by the time you get statements through and do the first letter, the Natwest claim will (hopefully) be over.

Hey everyone, I need some advice.
Natwest are charging me a paid referral fee of £30. I wasn't happy so I rang them up and got into a bit of an argument.
I haven't been charged any other fees over the last 6 years as I'm usually very careful.
My question is do you think its worth me trying to get my £30 back?
Is it worth the effort and will they pay it back?0 -
Try phoning them again, or go into your branch, but this time don't argue (this is very important). Point out to them that you are aware this charge is unlawful, and if they wont refund this charge, you will start a proper claim for it. If it is only one charge, I'm surprised they haven't refunded it straight away as a 'gesture of goodwill'.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Your case has been transfered to the Mercantile Court. This is a result of the court system trying to force through cases at a higher court than small claims track. A precedent can be set at this court. So far, from what I've seen, every case transfered to the Mercantile court has been settled by the banks (they really don't want to lose a case in this court).
You need to read up about this move, and what it means for you. Go over to https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk (you need to register.......it's free). They have information there about claims like yours. Read as much as you can!!!How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

I thought I would do the letters and cheques at the end of next week so thay won't come out until after pay day.
What with Cristmas ( 4 children) and I started a new job and was on emergency tax and they lost my expenses claim, my wage for Dec was down about £600 ( ouch). I have got all the addresses from a recent credit referrence agency chesck I did, There are 5 others.
Still no news from Stuart Higley!!0 -
Hi folks,
Cobbett's have made me an offer.
Obviously they claim their client feels they'd win the case. However a 'gesture of goodwill' offer of half the amount i'm claiming has been given.
What do u think I should do folks?
Thanks
PaulxoClaiming against Nationwide £2500Others to come!0
