Hate to say it but I was informed by Natwest on Tuesday that if I had wanted the current charges included I should have asked in my letter!!
Quote 'We are not mind readers'. Beggars belief that we ever trusted these idiots with our money in the first place.
Have said it before but perhaps Martin's first letter could have a bit about this or would we all be admitting to something we shouldn't!?
When offer arrives send back with attached new schedule and ask them to include or send a seperate offer letter for these.
Good luck!0 -

Hiya
Ive already sent a revised schedule of charges some weeks ago so i hope these have been included - its been going on that long now i cant remember when but it was well over 3 weeks ago at least.
Oh and dont worry when i do eventually get my offer letter if its not what i want its going back after all ive waited this long what difference is a bit longer going to make! They make me feel sick the way they treat people i have had nothing but messing around and hassle from them
Ive just contacted the FO again to tell them my claim hasnt been resolved I am going to ring someone in charge very soon aswell.LBM - April 2007Claimed back my bank charges from Natwest - £1196Halifax Credit Card Claiming £467.35 Rec £467.35!/Capital One Card Claiming - £523.92/Barclaycard Claiming - £403.58 Rec £403.58/MBNA Claiming - £584.37 Rec£584.37Proud to be dealing with my debtsUpdate: 2009 - Currently claiming £1900 from Natwest0 -
I filed a claim through MCOL with Natwest. An acknowledgement was filed by NW/Cobbetts. No further correspondence, so I entered judgement via MCOL on the first day possible. The following day I got a defence and RFI letter from Cobbetts dated the last day allowable before judgement day, stating that they had filed a defence, yet that defence did not show on MCOL.
What should I do next?0 -

Thanks for the good wishes but unfortunately they havent worked! - Heres an update for you:
Well ive just been catching up on everyones story and i see non of us have had an good news since ive been away!
Cant believe they have told you not to ring again thats disgusting
I got back yesterday and found nothing in the post - couldnt believe it after i have been told that i should have received my letter a couple of days after i had gone on holiday!
I rang yesterday so angry and got told my letter was sent on the 24th May! I explained its not arrived yet and its 10 WEEKS since my claim - all i got was fobbed off again saying well with the wknd and bank holiday it should be with me anytime now!
If ive not got it when i get home today theres gonna be trouble! I dont want to file with MCOL today as its just my luck i will and my letter will be there so i will loose my money to file.
I might try and ring that Elliot Porte man this morning see what he has to say and im going to ring the FO again to let them know whats happening.
I do hope my offer letter is for more than my original claim as i do hope now they have added on the further charges i have claimed after all this messing around.
Im so annoyed and have only been back a day - so much for returning to some good news eh!
Hope you two have better luck than me! xx
hi all
their 56 days are up for me today, i called them yesterday and was told by a confused young lady, "your offer was sent to you last week", i said well i havent recieved it so she send she was going to send out a copy and i should expect it within the next couple of days, dont know if this is another delaying tactic or not so we will see.
i sent my first letter on 29th march.
good luck to everyone claiming0 -

As i said in a previous post when i received my offer i phoned natwest at the number at the top of the offer letter they told me when i return the signed offer to include a schedule of any added charges since my first claim which i did and today 31st may (which if you include the weekend and bank holidays was 7 days after i posted the signed offer) i was paid the offer with the new charges included
so I am now very happy (still changing my bank account though been with natwest for 18yrs and get treated like dirt)Received £4541 reclaimed from Natwest :j:T0 -

Keep your chins up, everyone -- NatWest are caving, but they're taking their time.
At the weekend (I was away) a letter arrived with an offer for the smaller of the two claims I'm making.
Claim: £1215 plus interest
Their offer: £1215
A long haul, and this is just the smaller of two claims I'm making. I ended up going via MCOL, which NatWest first acknowledged, then defended, which meant heading for the courtroom. As this offer is for the smaller of the two cases, I've decided to accept rather than push for interest as well, leaving me with more time and energy to devote to the larger claim (more than three times as much) which they are also defending.
I called their Chatham office this afternoon to confirm the details, and they tell me that the money will be in my account within 10-14 days. I have to say that the woman I spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful in clarifying a couple of points I wanted to raise, and the office sounded incredibly busy in the background. This movement has obviously hit them like a tidal wave.
Hoorah.
An interesting point. I dialled the 0845 303 0456 number at the top of their headed paper, and discovered that this is actually their office in Chatham, Kent, quite separate from the Borehamwood office which is shuffling all the papers.
In addition, she pointed out that although the offer says they will send a cheque, this is in fact not the case if you still have another NatWest account open, as I do, in which case they will pay the money direct to your account.
Now the other one: my claim is £3895 plus interest, their offer was £1920. I'm sticking out for the whole lot.0 -
Hi all
More questions I'm afraid:o
I have had a search but it's a big thread & I can't find the answers so:
I have received my statements from NW (quicker than expected). We were charged £90 on 04/05/04r 3 unpaid d/d's but I have found a Natwest refund on 11/06/04 for £60. I don't know what's this is for but assume it's 2 of these earlier charges. Should I include this in my claim or query it with them?
Also - claiming interest - we closed the account on 04/04/06; how should I calculate the interest due?
Thanks in advance for your help0
