Nothing for you to do at the mo They have 14days until the 9th June to 'acknowledge' ( which Nat West did re mine) Then they have a further 14 days to lodge their defence ie Altogether 28 days If they have not filed a defence on the 28 th day at midnight you can press the 'judgement 'button as they will have lost by defualt So you could press the button at one minute past midnight on 22 nd June. But it might be the Monday as the 9th is a Sat Best of luck BUT Nat West filed their defence at 2.0pm onthelast day I am hoping this is just another delaying tactic as now I have twait foracourt date which could take months before , I hope ,that they settle .
Thanks for the advice! Time to wait it out i guess. Much appreciated.0 -

Natwest Credit Card - 1st letter sent 27/4/2007 (£294) SUCCESS - Full amount repaid
Capital One - 1st Letter 03/2007, FO in Sep 07. SUCCESS full amount repaid Jan 080 -

Today, after no correspondence from NatWest, and at the final hour before I take them to court, I received a letter from them.
It stated that they do not admit the charges are unlawful, and that they believe them to be fair and transparent.

However, we are prepared to pay you the full amount, sign this form, send it back to us and we'll transfer the money directly into your account.

Thanks to everyone for their help and brilliant advice, couldn't have done it without you, and thanks Martin.
:money:
Don't hold your breath.....it took another 8 weeks after I returned my acceptence (by recorded delivery) before they actually paid up. So you may have several more phone calls or trips to your branch ahead of you yet, so keep chasing until they pay up, though it SHOULD be within 14 working days...........BUT CONGRATULATIONS :T on getting this far....you just got to get them to hand it over now:rolleyes:

They made me an initial offer of £1,500 pounds, but i continued with the claim because they owe me near to £2000. they have sent a defence through from cobbetts solicitors asking for the charge/interest schedule. they also want me to explain how the unfair terms in consumer contracts regulations relates to the claim. they have basically called my bluff. what do i do?0
