After filing a claim with MCON, I finally received a letter from NatWest indicating that "as an act of good will", they will refund my charges. (Looks like they've deliberately waited until I filed the claim to send me the offer.) If I cancel the claim, will I receive my £30 fee back? What do I do?

    I'd really appreciate your help.
    Thank you

That's exactly what happened with me. I think its highly unlikely you'll get your court fee back if you cancel your claim, although you'd need to write to them to check that out. In my case, having refused their so called good will payment (had paid court fee, and was also claiming interest at this stage), they filed their defence, and so now I'm dealing with their Solicitors, Cobbetts

I called them every week asking for if there was any progress and then also sent a not so nice email reminding them their eight weeks was nearly up and I would be reporting them to the ombudsman if I didn't get a response. I don't know if it helped or not but within the week I had the offer. :j

Well ive done all that and nothing but ive even reported them now to the FO as there 8 weeks has gone and ive received zilch!

I have not even had an acknowledgement letter so by the FSA guidelines that too will get them into trouble and to be honest they deserve every telling off they get! :rotfl:
