Rang the number and after multiple attempts, finally got through to an advisor.
They say they have recieved my letter on the third of may, It was the third letter giving them 14 days to reply or i will go ahead with court action.
I sent this letter on the 23rd of april.
Their 14 days is up from the day of writing but they say they reserve the right to have 8 weeks before correspondence?!
Do i go ahead with court proceedings?
Thankyou again for any help!:j0 -

me too, i have stuck to it, i have just given them another 7 days so if i have not heard anything by then, watch out. surely they are breaking there guidelines that they keep chucking down our throats if they are going into 8th and 9th week, do you think you ought to phone FO and ask them what you need to do. how long did fo say it would take them to deal with yours, because perhaps as soon as natwest get letter from fo they may put money straight into your bank, which i have read of on here somewhere.0 -

Because the FO are so busy with complaints mine isnt even on the system yet as they too have a backlog. I asked the girl at the FO office could i add things to my complaint but as it wasnt on the system then i couldnt - she did say i could send another one but i thought i better not as that may take them more time to put on the system and delay contact with Natwest.
As i had an email back from Natwest customer relations (oh yes they do reply by mail!!) i have just sent a reply back stating i have reported them and further action will be taken and basically just complained about their method or lack of in dealing with their claims!
I cant believe some have been settled in a matter of days and mines just dragging on - disheartening isnt the word.

Hi all..
When i contacted |Fo on tuesday they told me that they cudnt help get my money back as yet as it wasnt past 56 days but they sent me a complaint pack anyway and i sent it back complaining about : No acknowledgement to any of my letters and the fact that i get told different things each time i ring sometimes with very abrupt staff and i told them that i emailed them and they told me they dont get emails , when infact they do cos i got a reply a week later!!They seemed interested in the no acknowledgement to any of my letters bit!! I want natwest to get a kick up the behind for that at least!!
I told them i had been a customer with natwest since i was a kid and i find this behaviour totally offensive!!
I cant wait to get my money and close my account and ring them up and just laugh at them!!
they only received my 1st letter on the 12th April and i am totally stressed with them so god knows how all of you feel who have had this for several months!!
If i had my way id never use a bank again!!
keep going everyone we'l get there in the end!!
