ok i have gone past being mad with them, i am on the next stage, have just received letter from dvla threatening legal action as my cheque had bounced 6 weeks ago, and good old natwest never informed me, so i have been driving around with no bloody tax on the car, i have not received any letters from this bank for almost two years, so what the hell are they charging me for.0

Bump!
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated
Why dont you try ringing them and asking if they have received your letters and you wanted to find out where your claim was up to.

Cant believe what i have just read above bout them making an offer and them not receiving the acceptance back - this is very concerning as once we do finally get our letter how do we know that they have got it without more phone calls and how long will it take to get credited to account - its just one big wait as far as im concerned.
I really dont want to ring them again as im sick of it but so annoyed at being told one thing and then another.
Apparently im in the 7th week where an offer should be sent - the girl on the phone yesterday started reeling off a list of timescales and said they were the FSA ones and am i aware of it - i said there your timescales not mine and i will stick to the ones i have before i go to court! Couldnt believe the fob off i was getting!
Hope you get yours too - is it just me or not but i feel like we are the only two people that are being messed around and havent had any good news?!
i thought it was me getting paranoid, but i did have a chuckle thinking as i can't drive my car now i will be an expert at WAITING for a bus, might start up courses on how to wait....0 -
me again sorry.... does the reply letter for the offer have to be sent, or can you take it to your local branch and get them to sign to say it has been received, would that be quicker that way, then there is proof that the letter has been received by the bank.0

Just rang them again and i really really want to punch someone! Arrrrggggggh i was told even though im in THEIR 7th week i should be getting a letter soon apparently some offer letters are going over that period into the 8TH & 9TH WEEK!!! told them about me getting a verbal offer and she denied that wasnt the case they shouldnt have said that all they can tell from their screen is how much you are claiming and its not up to her to say!!
She they are just getting round to sending out offers for people who sent their original requests on the 19th march and as im a couple of days after that according to them even though i sent mine out on the 20th!! that i might get mine next week but she cant say for definate as that may not be the case
IM SO FED UP OF THEM NOWI WANNA CRY

yet again they are saying something different, as when i phoned at the beginning of the week they said they are actually managing to get letters out in the 7th week, so i aint got a hope in hell for a letter this year as they received my 1st one on the 12th of april, even though i posted it to local branch on the 5th. wish all the bloody staff would get together and decide what they are gonna tell there customers.0 -
