I can really sympathise with you - i too am sick of it all now and like you say even the success stories dont cheer me up cos i keep reading about people who wrote 1 letter or got there offer within 2 weeks and its annoying me even more (pleased for the people but am so annoyed at the banks approach to just picking random people)
I am hoping to get home tonight after working my 2nd job to find some good news want to go home at dinner but not wasting the petrol to find once again nothing and being dissapointed.
I reported them yesterday to the FO as ive not had one letter and the silly girl on the phone admitted they had done wrong not acknowledging my complaint within 14 days and said to me 'do you want me to send you a copy of the letter?' - NO I !!!!!!! DONT I WANT MY OFFER LETTER AND MY MONEY!
Dont know whats going on with them lately but this waiting is horrendous and i havent got the money to start my MCOL proceedings - think im gonna have to borrow it if it comes to next week and nothing has been sorted.:mad:LBM - April 2007Claimed back my bank charges from Natwest - £1196Halifax Credit Card Claiming £467.35 Rec £467.35!/Capital One Card Claiming - £523.92/Barclaycard Claiming - £403.58 Rec £403.58/MBNA Claiming - £584.37 Rec£584.37Proud to be dealing with my debtsUpdate: 2009 - Currently claiming £1900 from Natwest0 -
have just telephoned cru again, really nice lady (but even the nice ones are bugging me now) and she has now given me a ref no; and told me that i should get an offer letter the end of may, i said i already knew that i just wanted to know what the bloody offer was, she said the usual 7 weeks, then had the cheek to tell me it could be the beginning june before i hear anything, as it is a longdrawn out process they have to order copies of statements, check them, then check what i have asked for, (spose thats a new excuse) i am thinking of contacting fo but not sure if that will delay it any longer, all i am asking for like everyone else is MY money. they are quick enough in taking it......   :mad:0

I was thinking have i done the right thing in contacting the FO but ive just rang them again to see if they got my complaint but the lady said they are inundated with complaints( ibet they are prob all about the fatwest) so mine hasnt gone on the system as yet. It worked for Katie baby so i thought id give it ago. I hope it doesnt delay but either way they are getting taken to court. The lady from natwest yesterday told me if i do want to follow that course of action that too might delay my claim - in other words they are calling the shots!
Natwest time is running out on my claim so they better hurry up - im sick of ringing them now and hearing excuses so im not bothering anymore i thought the pest approach would work but clearly not!

Bump!
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated0 -
Just been to the bank and they've now changed their story again, they're now saying that they have never received my acceptence form!!!! I sent it back recorded and showed them proof but they're still denying it....unfortunatly when checking the royal mail track and trace there is no signature for this item, all it says is this item was delivered from our borehamwood office on 12.04.07. So looks like I will be making a claim against royal mail too! and all the rubbish last week about we have paid you but we don't know where the payment has gone was pure lies
They're now sending me another offer letter today and apparently once I receive it I can take it into the branch and they will fax the acceptence straight through to borhamwood for me!!! It'll be interesting to see if that works or not. So here comes another weekend without the £1100 they owe me, I am soooooooooooo closing that account once they pay up.
How do I get hold of the FO? I'd rather do email or mail than phone call, does anyone have an address?
IMAM0 -
i have just e mailed cru (started pleasant) giving them 7 days from todays date to reply with an offer or i am contacting FOS which i am going to stick to now, i also said that one of there telephonists said they were in the wrong by not replying, and that there guidelines are only guidelines and that gives them UP TO 56 days, so will do what i am getting really good at, and wait, have you tried telephoning again and saying, as some one else did that you recorded the phone call, give them date and time, who knows.... good luck and hope your offer is sitting on your door mat, jumping up and down waiting for you.0

I dont blame you its ridiculous this waiting business. Cant believe what i have just read above bout them making an offer and them not receiving the acceptance back - this is very concerning as once we do finally get our letter how do we know that they have got it without more phone calls and how long will it take to get credited to account - its just one big wait as far as im concerned.
I really dont want to ring them again as im sick of it but so annoyed at being told one thing and then another.
Apparently im in the 7th week where an offer should be sent - the girl on the phone yesterday started reeling off a list of timescales and said they were the FSA ones and am i aware of it - i said there your timescales not mine and i will stick to the ones i have before i go to court! Couldnt believe the fob off i was getting!
Hope you get yours too - is it just me or not but i feel like we are the only two people that are being messed around and havent had any good news?!LBM - April 2007Claimed back my bank charges from Natwest - £1196Halifax Credit Card Claiming £467.35 Rec £467.35!/Capital One Card Claiming - £523.92/Barclaycard Claiming - £403.58 Rec £403.58/MBNA Claiming - £584.37 Rec£584.37Proud to be dealing with my debtsUpdate: 2009 - Currently claiming £1900 from Natwest0
