hi everyone..
just reading & noticed a few people are down in the dumps with it all today!
I think we all get like that about this dont we?
To cheer me up i browse through the success stories..
Its awful isnt it when you dare;nt even ring up your bank or open statements in fear of how much they have taken this week or month ..
The chances are we will all get our money back sooner or later and when i do it will have all been worth it for me.
Lets just all try and keep strong and focus on what we are gonna spend our money on!!!
I must admit 1 thing that always me smile is (i know its farfetched) but can you imagine the baliffs going in and taking chairs out and counters ?? hahaha!!!
anyway thanks to everybody on this site once again!

hi smudgemanc26, i have just telephoned them, really polite bloke, he told me that no offer had been made as yet, that they are looking into and they have 7wks from receiving 1st letter, which i sent to local branch on 5/4 and he received it on 12th so they go by the 12th, i explained that the 2nd letter had been sent and if i havn't received any response by 10th then i will phone fos and make a complaint and proceed with courts on 11th (my son will lend me the money bless him) he said did i still want the bank to look into it, i said yes but i am sticking to my deadlines, he told me to keep watching out for the postman as i should recieve somehing by the end of the month,... so back to waiting game, and freaking the postman out.....0

Hi all
My son recently wrote to NatWest to try and reclaim his bank charges. I sent the letter by recorded delivery giving them 14 days to respond as per the template letter on this site. He has received back a 2 line letter saying thank you for your recent letter. We are investigating the claim and will respond asap............. How long do we give them? or should we send another letter ?
Thanks in advance if you can help xxx0 -

ive decided to give them until the 30th may and then report them to FO as im really nervous about the whole court thing..
Il keep you informed of my progress..

Not too sure about that one i suppose they might not have time to log everyones calls judging by the queue they must have of people on hold!LBM - April 2007Claimed back my bank charges from Natwest - £1196Halifax Credit Card Claiming £467.35 Rec £467.35!/Capital One Card Claiming - £523.92/Barclaycard Claiming - £403.58 Rec £403.58/MBNA Claiming - £584.37 Rec£584.37Proud to be dealing with my debtsUpdate: 2009 - Currently claiming £1900 from Natwest0
