I was told it could take 2 weeks & I might be a little premature in ringing this soon, however she checked my account while I was on the phone & it went in today, she said "OOOH it's in, it went in this morning" she seemed shocked after telling me 2 weeks :rotfl:

So do you think its worth keeping on ringing them, what i wanted to do was to just say ok i accept your initial offer and i am prepared to leave the additional charges of £170 for a quick settlement!

I just sent my revised charges by mail everything else by post (recorded) i thought the lady told you they were not accepting claims by email anymore?

How about faxing it instead do you have access to a fax machine - someone posted up the fax number if you look back over the thread.

When did you add the additional charges? (also at what stage)?

I just thought i try and speed things up...she did also say that 135 Bishopsgate should send my schedule onto them as they are the department that are dealing with the claims..

    Thanks for all your help!!

I emailed to see if I could push them along a little. I never emailed any claim letters, I took "by hand & post" my letters to my branch, they got there in the end. I wouldn't email your claim, I'd POST recorded or even POST special delivery (next day) if you are in a hurry.
