Just spoken to the customer care team who have acknowledge receipt of my claim by letter however they have just told me that they have 8 weeks to respond is this correct? Shall i just proceed as normal with the timescale given its been over 14 days since my last letter so i am thinking of sending another letter today informing them that i will be taking my claim to court - is this the best way?

Update..........
I rang customer Relations 3 days ago, they told me I'd be waiting about 2 weeks to ge an offer letter through via post, it came today, offering the full amount claimed, it's now signed & accepted & back in the post to be signed for!, lets see how long it takes for them to press a button & credit it to my account!0 -
Please would anyone who has had Natwest or any other bank do this let me know how things panned out. They are asking for evidence which we've already sent and more detail on why the Unfair Act applies to them. We desperatley need the money too! How long should it take from here?

Yes they as in the Big NatWest bank done exactly the same to myself not once but twice. Two loans to pay of there unrealistic bank charges and fees and im still paying off the last one.
I am now in the process of claiming the six years worth of bank charges back amounting to £2357.77 (they are lucky we can only claim for this time period). After several weeks now I have called them at least three times at their customer relations department asking for an update, and all they say is that its in process and they cant tell me anything useful. (Good 'ol callcentre staff great for a good earner on call charges, another moneyspin).
Anyway enough of the slateing.
After all the stalling technic under the sun they have written to me with an offer of £1821 exactly after I sent the last letter stating I am going to take them to court.
Now im in two minds to carry on for the other £536 or go on holiday next month and forget about it and take the offer and put it in to my new account with Lloyds, and then start again for some fresh charges they put on this week.
HHmmmmmmm
Who knows??

Hi, you can add it on, just do a revised letter out of courtesy to your bank telling them of the revised changes but your timescales still stand, include a revised list of charges, good luck .....oh & send it recorded "signed for".0
