I wrote my first letter to my branch of natwest on 27/02/2007 then a follow up letter on 20/03/2007 stating that as i've been ignored i now intend to carry out court proceddings against them etc. This morning i recieved a leter from my local branch saying that they had forwarded my letters to NATWEST CUSTOMER RELATIONS ( with address) who are dealing with this for me. Now what??
Do i wait to hear from them now? Or shall i just carry on with the court proceedings? And do i still write all corespondence to my local branch even though they have passsed me on to another department?? HELP!!!!!!
Deal with that address now. Did they give you a timescale as to when they would reply, if not you could send the letter before action to that department again and if they don't reply within the 14 days you then start court action.
Or you start the court action on the 15th day after you sent the LBA.0 -

I would send one last letter to the new customer relations address they gave you and threaten court to them and if they don't reply, then start court proceedings0 -

Hi can enyone help!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm losing my patients with Nat West. I sent my first letter to them, as per
Martins instructions, requesting my list of charges, after 3 weeks and cashing in my £10 cheque, I get my brown envelope today!!!!
It only had my last 1 years statements in there!!
Where do I go from there.........
Cheers
xx
You need to phone them. They sent me all my 6 years apart from the first 10 months, I phoned them and then received another 3 months but not the 3 months I wanted and have still not received the rest 3 weeks later!
It's a delaying tactic, there's no reason for them not to send them all together.

Morning all,
Can anyone help on this....
Basically, the unlawful charges applied to my account in 2002 we're converted by a member of Natwest from my overdraft limit to a unsecured loan at a high interest level over a long period of time (loan started in 2002). This cleared my overdraft and thankfully I'm about £300 from paying it off.
I was wondering, can I ask Natwest to investigate my loan as this was made up of all the charges put onto my account at the time?
Has anyone else considered/done this yet?
Thanks

The same was done for me in 2006 but I am in the final stages of claiming back the charges, they may want me to pay off the loan but that hasn't been mentioned. I think I read on a thread somewhere that you could maybe ask for the interest back on the loan as it was taken out through charges but I'm not sure.
Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Hi I am a new member of the site and am currently trying to get my money back from the Nat West. I sent of the first letter and duely recieved my statements back (again like other in a scuffy flimsy brown evelope which again like other had split open) after collating the info Isne letter 2 back on the 12th giving them 14 days to respond. Today (24th March) I recieved a letter back from them stating
" I am sorry that we have not been able to respond to you and would ask that you bear with us in the meantime. We are currently investigating and will respond to you within 21 days"
The question is do I accept this and give them the extra time requested or do I press on next week with letter 3
Thanks in advance togs0 -

I really want to reclaim my bank charges from them but I'm worried they will shut my bank account down!
Any help would be great
Thanks Alex0 -
I don't particularly remember anyone reporting Nat West closing their accounts so get your information/statements from them and start off your claim!0
