On the 8th march natwest aknowledged my moneyclaim and stated they intend to defend it.

Since then i have heard nothing from either natwest or moneyclaim.

Should i be concerned??

No you shouldn't be worried - just wait.

They have 28 days from the date the claim was deemed served in which to enter a defence.

I have recently made a claim for £2600 in charges. I received a letter back today offering me just over £1100. I have refused this and am now sending a letter asking for more and threatening court action.
What i wish to know is if i use the Moneyclaim website does anyone have an idea as to how much the cost would be on £2600 to take Natwest to court? It says between £30-£120 anyone have any idea?
Has anyone got this far in the stage?

I thought less than half my money back was taking the mickey.

The court fee is £120 I believe, not at that stage yet, so good luck with it

Hi can enyone help!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm losing my patients with Nat West. I sent my first letter to them, as per
Martins instructions, requesting my list of charges, after 3 weeks and cashing in my £10 cheque, I get my brown envelope today!!!!

It only had my last 1 years statements in there!!
Where do I go from there.........

I wrote my first letter to my branch of natwest on 27/02/2007 then a follow up letter on 20/03/2007 stating that as i've been ignored i now intend to carry out court proceddings against them etc. This morning i recieved a leter from my local branch saying that they had forwarded my letters to NATWEST CUSTOMER RELATIONS ( with address) who are dealing with this for me. Now what?? Do i wait to hear from them now? Or shall i just carry on with the court proceedings? And do i still write all corespondence to my local branch even though they have passsed me on to another department?? HELP!!!!!!

Often they are sent out in batches so you need to give it a bit more time or phone the bank and ask where the rest are.

After the time is up with the second letter, I would start proceedings. See the Reclaim Help thread in my signature for details of addresses and the impact of using your local branch.
