Yes you can add any charges taken prior to entering your court claim into the amount you are claiming.LegalBeagles0

I sent the first letter asking for my charges back and natwest sent a letter back with statements saying to highlight all charges and send back with covering letter etc etc.
I have gotten everything together with my covering LBA. Natwest have given me a freepost address to reply to, but i'm not sure whether to trust it or not. Should i just send it recorded to be safe?0 -
Thanks Esmerellda!:A0

hia Esmerellda - thanks for that.
What is service of documents?? Do i send what I have (copies of letters I have sent, list of charges with interest) on the same day that I file it online?
thanks
File your claim online and if a defence is lodged by the bank you may be asked to fill in an Allocation Questionnaire which you need to fill in and send your list of charges with that.
Use the registered address of the bank when filing online which is listed in post 2 in the Reclaim Help Thread and you'll find a guide to the AQ there too when/if you need it.0 -
Lublin.
I sent my statements back recorded delivery, guess what... They have been lost!
Personally I would call NatWest back and ask for your reference number (127) something usually. I would then find a fax machine, write a covering letter FAO: Stuart Higley (The big cheese in Boreham Wood) and fax him the statements 1 by 1. Also, she is on holiday at the moment but, there is a supervisor there called Emalda, she is VERY helpful in this and actually does ring you back when she promises to you, I'd suggest asking to speak to her when you ring (I think she is only on holiday for a wekk)
My claim, for just under 5k, with NatWest has been outstanding for over 10 weeks now. In that time I have received just 50 months statements after requesting 72 Months worth 3 times!!! I have also been asked to submit my claim again, I did this and sent it recorded delivery to the freepost address, I obtained my proof of delivery, but NatWest are telling me that they have lost the statements!!!!
So far this claim is beyond a joke!
This morning I spent about 20 minutes on the phone the Finacial Ombudsman regarding this and filing a complaint with them. They are EXTREMELY interested in hearing about this as
a) The FO have given the banks 8 weeks to settle the claim from the ORIGINAL claim letter, NOT, when they receive the statements as NatWest will tell you.
b) They are also very interested in the fact that NatWest have lost my statements.
NatWest are pulling every stalling tactic they can think of here.0 -
Why are people sending their statements to the bank ???LegalBeagles0

Thanks RNUK
i think i will fax and post them recorded to be safe!
natwest sent me all my statements when i didn't even ask for them and they arrived in very battered and torn envelope. I have written them a big lecture about environmental foot print and security issues etc etc and asked them to tell me about their environmental and security policy! :rotfl: its great fun!
Anyway my claim is only for £260 so hoping they will just refund quickly. We'll see tho.

Esmerellda: After my first letter Natwest replied saying they wanted the charges highlighted on each statement and sent back.0 -
It's the first thing NatWest done with my claim. They asked for me to send highlighted statements back to the freepost address in Boreham wood?0

Thanks Edinburghlass - so just to confirm I don't need to send anything to the bank initially, just if they file a defence? Sorry first time I have done this..!0 -

Yup! Exactly the same happened to me, not even so much a jiffy bag or at least something to protect my sensitive information from prying eyes!!!
Again, the FO found this interesting to hear.0
