just been to the bank and was told that they dont deal wiyh this at the branch this would be dealt with at boreham wood
thankfully the cashier gave me a photocory of my letter as a recipt and said it would be forewarded to the correct department
ive got over £6,000 of outstanding charges witch completly shocked me as i thought i may have £2000 worth 0ver 6 years
fingers crossed
Well a lot of other people have dealt with their branches
I suppose at least they are passing it on for you and they can't say they haven't received it.
Hope you get every penny back0 -
Hi i sent a letter to my bank asking for my charges back, received no reply from that one after 14 days which was yesterday so i sent the next letter threatening court action, then i received a message on my phone today saying that they werent ignoring me and that it is being dealt by another office and could take upto 6 weeks for another responce,
is 6 weeks acceptable or should i take them to court.

Hi,
I rang another office as Borehamwood are fobbing people off and I was not happy.
I was told that the offer letters are taking four weeks to get to us and then once accepted will take another two weeks to get paid!!
These are their timescales and nothing will make it go any faster. Unfortunately it is a time game with them.Claiming the following:

Cap One: (me) 853.00 paid: 1059.05 20.04.07

i think the general concensus is that you stick to your timeframe not theirs. Just sent my first request for repayment , so waiting to see what happens.

Different stories for different people by all accounts!
I recieved my offer letter yesterday for the full amount(£2491).I got an Email from the customer relations department this morning saying they had recieved my letter(sent 16th feb) and i would hear from them within 2 weeks!!
But i just did.....yesterday!!
So i cheekily replied, asking them when my account would be credited, and they replied within two MINUTES!! saying it will be credited to my account the day after they recieve my acceptance form..........so we shall see!!0 -

Hi deedee
I'd give them til after the weekend, it took them 7 days to credit my account.
Also being the weekend you'll get no reply until Monday anyway!
If you've been made an offer, you'll get your cash!
Regards
