Ive no idea how long it is taking them to put the money into the bank account , we sent our acceptance letter back on monday through thier internal mail from our local branch (i dont trust royal mail) . The money still isnt in our bank account yet so getting a bit frustrated with them , they said it would take between 7 and 10 days for the money to be credited but now they have told my hubby it could be upto 14 days . How long does it take to put in some numbers in a computer and press go ? god it annoys me how long they take

I had this same problem with Halifax. Signed their offer form and sent it back. It said on the form payment would reach my account withing 7-10 days. 2 weeks later I still hadn't received it so I phoned them up to ask where it was and was told that all the acceptance forms were in a big pile and they were doing a few each day but they would get mine out of the pile and do it straight away.
Checked my bank the next day and they had so if I were you I'd just give them a quick call and nudge them along :D

    Hi all
Just a quickie about my claim hopefully to get a few views from others on here.

I am currently claiming back my charges from Natwest i was 1 day away from getting judgement and they have now filed defence  and i am now awaiting a court hearing date.

What i cant quite get my head around is that a friend of mine who is with the same branch of Natwest as me claimed at exactly the same time as me and for a larger amount, mine being £2000 and hers being £3400 yet she has had all hers settled in full? I am pleased for her just wondered why natwest would pay larger amounts in full yet defend a smaller amount.

Has anyone else actually got to going to the hearing stage with Natwest? I did a search but couldnt find anything.

Anyone any ideas on how long its taking the courts to set a hearing date? Sent my AQ off a couple of weeks ago and the cheque has been cashed so I know it got there!

Delivering it by hand would be a much safer option as a lot of banks are claiming they haven't received letters...I know royal mail can be pains at times but they aren't that bad.

As for addressing it to someone, I didn't on my letters, I just put the address of the bank on but I suppose if you addressed it to the manager, it couldn't hurt

    Good luck!

I'm not sure how long this normally takes but I would contact MCOL and get them onto it
