Has anyone had similar experiences? Any help much appreciated!! Thanks.
The bank will check the charges that you are claiming and will know exactly how much you are due.0 -
I've had my 1st success at reclaiming bank charges with NatWest today. I sent the 1st letter on the 2 Feb and then 2nd letter on 26 Feb. I was asking for £1706 back, today I came home from work to find a long winded letter from Natwest (dated 22 Feb), and on getting to the last paragraph they have offered me £1667. Hi
I started my court claim in the middle of January, Natwest acknowledged and defended the claim and now i'm waiting for a court date. It feels like its going on forever - especially with so many people getting offers after just one letter!
Sorry its not too helpful but am getting a bit disheartened by the whole process now0 -
what address does the natwest letters have to be sent to? my branch? or a particular address? also, should i list the charges and dates or just send the total? thanks,Tel0

honestly, ive read through here since december and didnt claim until early feb...if you check back through this thread, natwest do not seem to go to cort, they leave it until the last day to reply to you and settle out of court weather it be by letter or phone call.
stuick to your guns, we are all here for you to offer our advice!!
you will win!!!
in my experience natwest did not put up a fight, they where very apologetic!!! they even refunded my historic statement fee because i had a go at them!0 -
if you look on this site, there is a spread sheet you can use!
i made my own. basically showing date/referance/ammount with a breakdown of all.0
